This show takes place in ~50 BC If they mention Jesus as you say, that is very anachronistic!

I don't think there's any evidence Cleopatra did drugs, so I dunno why the show makes her into a junkie. Cesarean sections are named after Cesarean, Ceaser's baby with Cleopatra, which famously had an early C-section.
