You've still got 20 episodes to go but I'm surprised at how fast you were able to get through this show. Do you think you'll finish off Death Note before starting Attack on Titan? I'm asking because both Death Note and Attack on Titan had the same series director, Tetsurō Araki, brings a very distinct rhythm and visual flair to shows and films that he's worked on.

Never say never, but I don't think I'll return to Death Note. I was only gonna take a week off but in that time off I realized I really hated the way the characters are so omnipotent. "You think I'm gonna turn left, so I'll turn right. But you know I'll do that, so I'll turn half left. But you'll know that so I'll..." and so on. No character is ever surprised because they anticipate everything in real time. Never even takes overnight or something. It's really boring. So, I don't blame the Director I blame the writer.

The current opening and ending are my favorites- especially the opening, and the ending fits well with all the post credit/during credit stuff that goes down- I was kind of sad the first time watching when the opening changed after this (though the last opening is good too). There’s also a blooper reel you should check out when you’re all done narrated Havoc’s VA- I think a few different channels posted it, so you should be able to find it easily if you choose to watch it.
