Sorry Ive been MIA the last couple weeks. I was totally mentally consumed with the election. GUYS! I haven't been this happy in a long time. I feel like a four year back pain just lifted. I feel so RELIEVED! Did y'all celebrate over the weekend?


Chip and I l literally started  drinking at 10am-4pm. 4pm-6Pm nap. Then 6pm cocktails. WOOF.

Hope y'all are well  and im  excited to jump back in here :) -M

I know this is going to sound dramatic but this is the first time in a very long time that I’ve been able to start planning for a future. Everything was on hold because I felt so scared about life. I started looking into teaching english as a second language yesterday and I haven’t been so excited about an idea for so long! My friend and I got a cabin in the woods last week because I was afraid of violence (still don’t feel in the clear fully yet). We hung out here and drank and celebrated and cried and hugged when Biden was announced! Even made a drink called “the big blue boost” because they kept saying that on CNN 😂 I feel hopeful for the future and also am making a pledge to myself to remain as involved in politics as I have been this year. Glad to have you back Mamrie and am so thankful that covid test wasn’t really positive! So much to celebrate 😊

I had several solo dance parties this weekend and it felt so good. I feel hope for the first time in what feels like a long time. Biden wasn’t my favorite choice but I am hopeful.

Plus we voted to legalize recreational marijuana. I'll stick to champagne, but it's a sign that times might be a-changin' in the desert.
