Luna, the petite inkling had recently been suffering from a lack of sleep. After her mattress broke, she’s had to lay on her old sofa at night, which has only resulted in her lack of sleep over the past few days. So one day, the inkling decided to mix her ink with bubble solution, creating a very gooey and rather viscous fluid. After dipping one of her tentacles in the liquid, she wrapped it up in a loop creating a makeshift bubble wand of sorts with the film of the thick fluid soaked between it. Taking in a large breath of air, Luna blew into the film, creating a bubble that quickly grew from the size of a tennis ball to the size of an exercise ball within moments. But even then, she continued to blow, her cheeks turning red until her eyes closed from the strain. When she finally reached her limit, she closed her tentacle, sealing off the bubble as she knelt down to catch her breath.

When she looked back up at the bubble, she smiled ear to ear to see that it had grown to the size of a ginormous king-sized mattress. Bobbing up and down like a ball of jelly, it almost looks like a slime froma video game, or like a big rubbery beach ball. without a moment of hesitation, he went over and poked the bubble, feeling her hand sink into the surface as it squeaked softly like rubber. Luna couldn’t help but giggle as the cool, slick, surface squished around her hand, feeling as if she was poking a giant water balloon, with it’s wet jelly-like surface proving to be extremely resilient, and incredibly soft. Unable to contain her excitement, she knew from the moment she touched it that it was absolutely perfect, jumping into the air as she bellyflopped atop the giant bubble.

Sinking deeply into its surface as the membrane sagged around her, the hollow film squeaked around her before she was flung back into the air, gently bouncing her like a trampoline until she came to rest on its surface. Luna practically shivered in delight as the bubble cradled her body, letting out a blissful sigh while of the surface gently bobbed below her. It was better than she could’ve imagined in her wildest dreams. The bubble was soft, but not so squishy that the surface felt spongy or uneven, in fact, it supported her back perfectly it was like a bouncy mattress. It really felt like she was sleeping on gelatin, or like a giant puffy marshmallow, the very sensation making her mind melt with comfort as she relaxed her entire body.

Turning her head, she gently nuzzled the bubble beneath her, feeling its slick jelly-like surface squish against her cheek, making her blush as she whimpered happily. With that, she wrapped her arms behind her head and pulled her knees up slightly, getting comfortable as she closed her eyes. Even as Luna became still, the bubble gently bobbed and swayed beneath her, as if she was being carried by a floaty on a pool. It didn’t take long before she felt herself drifting off, falling asleep with a big satisfied smile on her face. Looks like she won’t be needing a new mattress anymore.
