I know I don't promise it, but sometimes I like to share art for ALL Patrons to view every so often.

There isn't much of a reason to this piece, and was motivated entirely by the visual concept. I've wanted to express this concept for a while, but only got around to it today. The colours work well together, I think. Originally, I planned for more grey, with the figure itself on fire.

I don't often use [Multiply] (layer blending mode) for the bulk of my shadow masses, since it can often result on a grey-er colour, but all of my shadows were pretty much on a [Multiply] layer, using violet-coloured shapes. Ordinarily, I'd manually select all of my shadow colours.

Although I've yet to determine the style for upcoming Beaumont comics, I might try to do more stuff like this. The rendering is simple, but the rough brushes can make it feel natural, and it allows for a wider range of colours than my typical sketches do. The prototype was in black & white, but that's not good on my eyes... As cool as it can look.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

You can really see the torment in his eyes, the look of someone who knows their own destructive capabilities. You really nailed this one, Brell.
