AmaChains (Patreon)

Ye another amaranth sketchdump. I gotta start drawing more dynamic poses and compositions before this just becomes boring for everyone. This sketch is a bit later than I'd have liked - was feeling a bit bummed out yesterday. 

My sketches of Amaranth always seem to be significantly more appealing in black and white than they do in colour. Maybe it'd be worth toning down his general colour scheme to be altogether less vibrant then. I'm always a big fan of the rough shine I give his hair in the sketches like this, but I'm not sure I'd want the comic idea itself to look like this - might be a bit too bleak. 

I'm envious of people who work with inks a lot and have really strong line work and a sense of form using only lines - something I should look into improving, I think.
