Also, just a minor correction on the "clearly they weren't close friends" part, remember in the movie Gojo called Geto his best friend, the only one he ever had. So they are close, ig it's just not super clear in how they interact but that's just how they are with each other.

Man it is a complete shock to see Geto's attitude and philosophy back then compared to the 180 that he is in the movie and the present. he probably had a chance to be the best Jujutsu sorcerers with Gojo like ever before it all went to hell.😥 They were so playful too and complete besties, I mean showing them on the bike, in the arcade, and just hanging out messing around. Most people would kill for a friendship like that. 😔

I mean that is fair cause that is the one constant for Gojo as a sensei too, but since absolute power corrupts as we all know, it is a possibility in another life that Geto could have gained more power, but on the right side...well according to the anime at least. 🤭

It's probably more of a general Japanese cultural thing but I like to thing the haunt in this episode is at least somewhat inspired by corpse party, an old ass RPGmaker game remade on the PSP about a haunted school that draws in more eternal victims via the internet. Genuinely one of the most haunting/scariest pieces of media I've ever experienced.

Toji (Daddy) Zenin/Fushiguro is voiced by Takehito Koyasu, most known for being the modern voice of DIO. I love his work here, he's kind of pigeonholed lately for his DIO voice and his work for Toji here is a little different than that.
