It's like a hard b and soft p. Depends on the air pressure you put behind the b sound, it's right in the middle :) takes practice but like...you hear it a lot better in some words rather than others. It's all about where you put the stress in the sound. Like the word for "fool" is spelled babo but sounds more like pabo with the right air pressure behind the letters. 바보 is how is spelled in Hangul.

Yup! It’s kind of confusing. The “G” and “K” sounds are similar too. The one that still gets me is when they say “ne” (meaning ‘yes’). A lot of times it sounds like “de.” It’s something about the tongue position behind your front teeth that makes it sound like a mix of the “N” and “D” sounds. In conclusion .. 🥴🥴🥴 😂

Those too! Haha it's a lot of stress training. I remember seeing that Korean announcers practice their enunciation by holding a pen or pencil in their mouths while speaking and it helps with the proper tongue placement
