I'd feel differently if it was elementary or middle school bullying, but in high school, nah he deserves whatever he gets. Also WHERE IS THIS TEACHER DURING THE COMMOTION LOL

I def understood why Lee hit Dnasty with the disclaimer lol. If he didn’t he would be heated all reaction because the bullied don’t necessarily go as HAM on the bully’s as Dnast would want - I feel him though. Luckily there’s a lot of fighting back in this show.

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying this!! your reaction is fun to watch. It's going to be very interesting seeing what yall think as we get further into the series~ and I really love Sieun (main guy). It's so rare you have a "bullied" character actually stand up for himself & snap like that esp so early on. (i'm ngl, storywise i also love his use of "weapons" like the pen and the book. another thing you don't really get in the show, but i love how Sooho, guardian angel, comes around and is like "don't cross the line". Their relationship is so fun)

I feel like the teacher either ran to get help or completely froze in shock like the rest of them. If I was a teacher idk if I would have been brave enough to step in. If I was a guy maybe, but as a woman? nah. These boys are far stronger than me and god knows what that kid is willing to do in his rage mode

In K-dramas the teachers are always conveniently gone and no one ever goes to get a teacher either lolol.

ah there is one thing i want to explain about how classes work since someone just mentioned about the teacher. the teachers aren't ALWAYS in the room. they have their own office and the students generally stay in their 1 class (tho they may move for subjects like science that requires lab work i believe), so during breaks, the teachers may be out of the room cuz they travel between classroom to classroom. i always see a lot of ppl mention it in their reactions but yeah, the students are generally given tasks (like grading their own work with the answer sheet and cleaning) while the teachers prepare for their next classes and the like.

But I also have to say as a teacher in SK some kids will square up as soon as you close the door to leave. Like I got stories and most of my boys also took taekwondo? TF I look like breaking that up? Had a designated break up fight dude lol.

Secondly, I feel you Lee, but 100% agree with director 😭. In society, I agree the escalation is unwarranted and bullying does not equal a life, but when it comes down to survival instinct, you don't let someone violate you and not respond with force to neutralize the threat for good. (make sure no one messes with you again). Once you put up with bullying even once, you invite more bullying. Like director said in some cases, even this retaliation here still isn't enough to get the bully to stop, in fiction of course.

When I was in highschool I learned how to fight just in case I got bullied. But fast forward 10 years I graduated college without ever using what I learned. Even now, I never actually used what I learned outside the gym. The thing with bullies is if you let them get away once, they will just keep doing it. You need to fight back even if you get beaten to a pulp. Because Its a lot of trouble picking on someone who fights back at all. Also MC looks really different compared to manwha. He was supposed to be like really short and thin and with a pretty, feminine face. Which is why he had to use knowledge to fight. He looks normal here.

Really interested to see how this will go as our top student snapped already. Think show will get more boring if this just goes revenge route from the kid that was messing with him and like what the hell is the school doing once again. Teachers really aren't paying attention at all.
