According to Gaburoon (the robot), "Sosu" is a term added after sentences to make one sound more graceful. Since Faputa is the "princess" of the village it would make sense for her to speak formally. So, she started saying it. You can see this all take place during her flashback with Reg.

The ending dialogue was something along the lines of "everyone see you next time" I think if I remember correctly. The episode you watched screwed you over with the lack of subtitles during the language translations. Anyways love made in abyss can't wait for season 3

Also pretty sure they explained Haku before this episode. They just did it in more depth since there are levels and Haku is the highest level. Remember Faputa could have 3 Haku's since she deemed it because of her 3 eggs. It was her mom, the robot, and Reg. Haku is the things she deemed to be the utmost important and valuable in her life. She talked about it a couple episodes ago

Final line of the season: "Everyone..." transitioning into the Ending Song: "I still remember you..." The Ending song is so good! It ties in perfectly to several episodes of this season. Veuko remembered Irumyui, Riko remembered everyone she met, Faputa remembers everyone she consumed, etc.

No idea who the author is, I don't read manga aside from One Piece. So I go by what I see and what I see is a portrayal that is not sanitized or niceified. Dunno what else there is supposed to be in there.

Good season, I actually watched this fully with your reactions from the movie to season 2. As I only had seen before years ago season 1 of this, but forgot almost everything about it. SOSUUU!! Faputa's VA really impressed me and the mental craziness of this story was really wild. Hopefully season 3 won't take too long to come out.

Realistically it will take 4-5 years since the manga is only 2-3 chapters ahead and it usually releases a chapter in between 5-6 months at a time unfortunately.
