Imo it's funny how many flaws people find in the show. Most people are subconsciously very influenced by hate train. Even if they give the show a chance by watching it, they end up very critical about smallest of things. Definitely Jen catfished but it was a real catfish. She actually is the She Hulk as she advertised herself to be. Not wrong. She used her hulk self to gain attraction like people use beauty for the same. Doesn't mean she was being fake. You can be a girlfriend and a daughter and a sister, all at once and you don't have to reveal everything to your date the moment you meet. She showed her hulk side to the guy during the night, they smashed. In the morning she revealed her other side. She hid nothing and revealed the other side right next morning and she is in no way wrong. People that call out her character as someone catfishing are stupid haters that find flaws in every scene of the show. They watch it to dislike it and they don't deserve respect for "at least giving it a shot". Those catcallers also don't mention how rude that date guy was. All Jen did is reveal her other side to him and both her sides are real. People act as if he was deceived and defend his rudeness.

Haven’t watched the vid, probably won’t tbh but what I find the funniest about u defending this show so much. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like u don’t even love the show like that. Just from watching u for a long time now u just kinda seem to double down on stuff when ppl get toxic. So bc ppl shit on the show so much u seem like a super fan. Not saying u dislike it tho. Am I off?

I tend to make videos on controversial episodes. I did the same on the boys and i did the same on one Piece. It just so happens She Hulk is controversial every week. Also if you listen to the actual video or note my words. I hardly say the show is good or bad. I just go after the arguments of people who zous. They find me on a random video only to comment that she hulk is bad. My content is focused on ARGUMENTS not about whether the show is good or not. I even mention finally what i dont like about the show.

I have 3 points to say to this video, 1 is the definition of the catfish you found depends on if people view Jen and she-hulk as the same person or two different people. 2 she did catfish by your definition when she use the profile she-hulk when Titania is she-hulk, for all we know that guy was expecting the other girl when she turns back. My last point is imagining if a guy did what she did….

Oh nah I’m not saying u dislike it at all. I’m just saying from the outside looking in it might seem like u love a show if you defend it a lot. And since everyone craps on it and u like to debate things and address controversy, ur gonna defend it a lot. For example, the guy you tweeted out that talked about She Hulk on a random anime reaction probably did it because they thought it would bother you. I’ll check out the vid tho. Maybe I’ll figure out what all this catfish stuff is about

Oh one more thing. I read the comments of live action the most. Especially if it’s weekly. So i been actually making videos for both HOD and She Hulk. So you’ll see more content there because comments spark my inspiration. The Animes a bit too overwhelming to read. So I’m less likely to be inspired from there.

No the definition depends if Jen used a fake persona. She didn’t “fake” anything nor she do deceptive practices to to foster a relationship noting that she shared her transformation story. Your explanation doesn’t utilize the definition of the word. Imo Respectfully of course

I don't really think it's because of the hate train. Marvel has made a lot of good shows throughout the years and it really peaked during the last avengers movie mmoving through spiderman no way home. After shows like that I think its very understandable that people have a lot of high expectations. And then we started getting shows like this. Bad CGI, Bad writing, Shitty jokes. They try so hard to pander to minorities at the expense of the show's quality. It probably would've fared much better if they largely stuck the comic, but no, they sacrificed her badass origin (being shot by the mob and getting transfusion from the hulk to save her life), because strong women don't need to be saved by men lmao.

Then I say people should keep their expectations under their pants. Story of this show is fun and jokes land too (mostly) for me. Only her badass origin is not changed, many characters don't have comics backstory. You are using the men angle but that's not necessarily the reason for the change. They wanted to focus on "fun" lawyer stuff and fast forward the origin. They did it. CGI is not bad. It is acceptable for a show budget. People that expect better than this are spoilt by few shows that use a lot of money on CGI. I don't mind how it looks. I am not nitpicky. This show is made for minorities? Hmm. I think it's 50-50. There are people like me and Lee and there are people like you and some. Fifty percent atleast do like the show.

She-hulk didn't really catfish the guy, its more similar to like exaggerating your work experience in your resume. Although this makes the guy's reaction kinda understandable.
