My advice to you is, DO NOT READ THE MANGA. Although it's amazing, once you start reading the chapters ahead of the anime, the new episodes won't be as exciting, in my opinion at least, just because you know what is going to happen next and it just feels different.

Xonok

Timestamp 18:27 Shimotsuki Yasui's sword in the flashback looks similar to Wado Ichimonji. The sword that Zoro received from Kuina's dad. At time 45:15 that is Kin'emon, but nobody knows why his hair color change from blonde to black. If I were to guess Kinemon is probably using his devil fruit to change the hair color and style of his hair. Remember when Kin'emon use the doflamingo disguise and his hair turn blonde, I think that was foreshadowing by Oda that his hair used to be blonde.

lol thats exactly what happened to me. When the anime went on hiatus back in 2020 when covid started I couldnt wait for the next episode so I read ahead and now I lost motivation to watch the anime as soon as the episodes come out but I still love seeing the manga scenes animated since it looks so much cooler in the anime

Yea. Erza put that together on her own. Fortunately we recorded a bit in advance. *spoiler folks* She pays attention to zoro. Remembered Zoroes teacher. We went back to episode 16 and had BLAST figuring the clues ourselves. I’m only telling you because in the video I mention that people will think they helping by explaining which actually can take away the fun. They will eventually even spell out the information very very clearly as well when they explain Zoros sword’s orgin.

Erza really said what i wanted to say Director voice when excited definitely sounds a lot like orochi at in reaction video And yes wano has some awesome Va Yor VA (spy x family) is also here in someone character gonna introduce later on so pay attention cause it too different than yor character

OneAnk

Yep that's so true ones you read the maanga greatness episode most of the time look bad other than some like 1015 or some previous ones but yeah if you like one piece read manga of previous chapter like white beard death and many other which anime nerfed

Xonok

I only mentioned cause in the manga that flashback scene is black and white and it just looks like a generic sword. Sometimes the anime spoils the manga because Oda talks to the anime team. This was my first time seeing this episode, since I only read the manga for the Wano Arc. We don't get much information about Yasui's life in the manga, this flashback from this episode is pretty much all the info we get about Yasui.

Candice Blair

It's the complete opposite for me. I went ahead and read the manga and all it did was make me want to see things animated. But then again I'm not one of those fans who needs everything to be perfect. I don't care about changes as long as they aren't erigeous.

Kay M

fun fact as of this episode it had been 6 years since Sanji and Zoro were together in the show (in anime weekly time)

Kin's fruit only changes clothes. In the doflamingo disguise that was a wig not his actual hair. Most likely he was either bleaching his hair when he was younger or he dyed it black.

Xonok

Has is been confirmed that Kin'emons fruit only changes outfits. I though he either created a wig with his fruit or he change his hair color with it. You think he created a wig with his fruit and that's how he change his hair color for the doflaming disguise?

Honestly starting the manga was the best decision I’ve made. Now I only have to tune in for episodes Ik are gonna be fire. And seeing dope manga shit in action is fire to me but I can see how it can take away for some ppl.

It was weird back during Zou when the minks were fighting Jack's crew there were a bunch of people who kept laughing while getting beaten. It's crazy that Oda sets up this stuff so far back. And like somebody mentioned Doffy mentioned Smiles back in Sabaody. I love One Piece.

SpartanManJDOGG

You can still see his topknot and sideburns and they're black has to be a wig or it doesn't make sense.

Juan Umana

I think Kin bleached his hair blonde. It was kind of mentioned but all the Akazaya Nine were troublemakers/delinquents back in the day. In Japan, dying your hair blonde is seen as a form of the youth rebelling, sort of like a counter-culture revolution.

Skebaba

Kin'emon has blonde hair cuz he's a delinquent at the time (the most obvious hint is his blonde hair, which all delinquents generally have, because it's not black hair which is the norm) Also yeah as you can see, Caesar is utter fucking noob when it comes to genetic engineering, as can be seen by how shitty & defective Smiles are (for comparison, Vegapunk also made an Artificial Zoan-type Devil Fruit that Momo ate, and it had a 100% success rate due to Vegapunk actually knowing properly how Lineage Factors work thanks to their research during their youth w/ Judge, Vegapunk & Spoiler before WG cracked down on their illegal research group, and Veggieman became a "legal" one, Judge fled as an independent one, and Spoiler became a criminal), and by this point it's pretty much quite heavily theorized that DFs were made in the Ancient Kingdom that was wiped out by WG 800 years ago, and we can assume that random shit like Fishmen, Long Arm/Leg Tribes, Giants, Dwarves etc etc, are actually also Lineage Factor modified races, originally being basically normie Humans, but their ancestors were modified to take w/e funny features they felt like (one can assume DF were so common back in the Ancient Kingdom that you could prolly even custom order those from w/e geneticists were in charge of making them, so think of Fishmen etc as basically the OP equivalents of Furries, who wanted to be able to breathe underwater or w/e, so they asked if their Lineage Factors could be modified w/ desired traits, and the scientists were like "k" and did so. These are different from DF obviously, but their effects are more limited as well, which is likely why they can swim fine, but DFs modify your Lineage Factor so extensively that you gain BS broken OP supernatural abilities but lose ability to swim etc. Given how racial traits are just normie shit and none of the races actually have that much of an advantage even compared to any random DF w/ how flexible the unique abilities are given by those fruits, it's more comparable to the other non-Human races being more equivalent to Judge's experiments on his kids (the obvious logical outcome after centuries of research into modifying Humans to those extents, rather than just enhancing already existing stats on vanilla Humans), except they have extras due to Judge & Veggie only having started to research the basics of genetic engineering (AKA Lineage Factor manipulation), vs some master geneticists adding extra features for different biomes just for lulz/utility

NobleLittleKing

I can't wait for you all to catch. I generally read the manga but I decided to go bridge watch the episodes immediately after this and they went ham! I wish you would put out 10 episodes a week to catch but I understand if you can't. The 50s and 60s are epic. All I can say is it gets better from here on out. So hurry up and catch up so we can talk! Also I'll tell you this now. Pay attention going forward and when watching a episode do not be afraid to pause. Trust me you will need to comprehend what is about to happen and connect the dots.

Nakeem

There was actually a Error, in the anime she says "people usually enjoy it when I lay down next to them" In the Manga (chapter 941) she says "The people in the capital would have died to lay with me" I don't know why Toei made her say that to make her seem like she's from the streets, that was also very controversial episode at the time

SMILE was actually first mentioned as far back as the straw hat's first visit to Saboady Archipelago -- when the slave shop is destroyed, the showrunner gets a call from Doflamingo (the slave shop owner) saying he doesnt need the slave shop anymore, as "slaves are old, SMILES are what's new"
