Kaguya doesn't have father issues. It was said many times she had no really feelings about people in general before meeting the president. She was cold as ice and she didn't look to her father for love or do anything to get his attention. Everyone looks at her with fear because her father has that much money that he could destroy anyone that her hurt. That's what people think. Daddy issues are more of her trying to get him to show her any type of love but that's not what she has done or is doing. Remember when she was sick she explained everything it's just how she was taught to do things. She had no one else.

Sounds like you we have different definitions of Daddy issues which is fine. But it sounds like she doesn’t have a loving relationship with her father. Which to me…is Daddy issues because i think the relationship should exist. I understand folks may thing differently. Which is fine. But that’s why you continue to hear us say daddy issues. It’s supposed to be a quick comment to wrap up that they are no a close relationship and move on.

True ramen episode 🍜, also pre-dates Komi's ramen episode that you also recently reacted to. Have you guys eaten fresh Japanese ramen (not instant) before?

Yeah, emotional neglect can cause so many issues and can even be classified as a form of childhood abuse, thus daddy issues.

Just want to remind the Shinomiya family motto that was shown in the episode when the President came to her house. If you are a Shinomiya, Do not rely on anyone, instead use them Do not receive anything, instead steal Do not love anyone, there is no instead. It helps understand the family dynamic and her upbringing.

I envy Japanese Twitter. Because their characters are words or concepts, not letters, 140 characters in that language is so much more useful and efficient.

2023-01-15 20:21:53 That is true. Although to make sentences in Japanese you don't use only Kanji, to make a sentence you have to add multiple Hiragana characters and when a word is of foreign origin it's fully written in Katakana. Still the character limit was never an issue in Japan. I've seen a study which showed that majority of Japanese tweets are half of length of English ones.
