I think Paul's visions are more like insight. Rather than them being the future as a fact he can see possible instances that could happen in the future. Which I'm assuming means he can make vital decisions to prevent his own death or dictate what outcome he wants to happen more likely.

I was operating thinking that all of these visions are symbolic. Like what you see and what they mean not the same. Cuz homeboy straight up said “some are clear and some are not. I just know i get a knife and use it”. Cuz in that way ALL of his visions come 100% true. Y’all taking it so literal threw me off. Might have to rewatch to make sure. I’m also operating on that he is 100000% “the one”. His sibling doesn’t change that fact. From what i understood granny soothsayer has multiple “plans”(i took that to mean “kids” cuz they cross breeding) and he’s the only irregularity. Like it won’t matter whatsoever who his sibling is or what they do.

The film was very good, personally I think the visions represent the future that will follow, but he can change it. Personally, I don't think Duncan could save him because he didn't have anything to save him if he was better prepared, maybe he could save him. It was a very good reaction, this video made my day better, thank you.

Correct. Please check the captions of video. Often it’s social links but when i make a change I often include in the caption of the video. Sundays Young Justice was released a day early. So you already got the episode. 1 day early

Not sure did you guys say it. But this story is the inspiration for making Star Wars. So if Mushoku Tensei is the "Grandfather of modern Isekai" then this is "Father of Star Wars!" =)

Just remember the point of seeing to past & future, in that you already get some answers to the visions shown in this part 1. Don't want to spoil as this is only a hint to make you guess more if you haven't read the books.

I liked the movie but it left out some details. The mind that can bridge time and space is referring to the future sight (Precognition). The HUGE detail that the movie left out is that Paul is a Mentat. In the past humanity was almost wiped out by rogue AI so the empire banned all AI research and Mentats were created. Mentats are humans that have been trained from an early age to process information like a computer. This training plus the training from his mother combined with constantly ingesting spice since coming Arrakis has opened his mind to go down the paths of probability to see potential futures. I won't go any further into Bene Gesserit abilities as they will be covered in the next movie most likely.

I am now at half-way point, but feel like I will forget to point this if not comment on it now. Your "jokes", about the oil were pretty accurate. As Frank Herbert who wrote these books, made the story to have clear hints at extorting resources from other people in our history. Btw that was 90 Celcius degrees not Fahrenheit...big difference there =)

I just think they are cutting mentats from the story entirely. We just very briefly met Thufir and Piter and neither one was identified as a mentat.

At first I thought Dune copied starwars with the spice, sandworms, and jedi like powers. But then i did some research and realized Dune came out before starwars did .
