Just saying ramiris said the spirit who inhabited chloe might have been protected by the spirit of time. If it was shizu who rimuru is destined to be with, who is also a hero, it would totally make sense.

so you need to remember that Veldora kept reacting to the Chloe and to the spirit that she gets, which is hinting at a connection. The spirit is the original hero that gave Shizu the mask, and being protected by the spirit of time is bc the theory is Chloe is going to grow up into that hero and use time magic at some point
