That sounds like most hard substances lol, but yeah they did a pretty good job portraying the intensity of addiction - tho I do wish we got more scenes of people doing sad things for the soma - rather than them desperately saying "I need it" Because that's the real darkness in addiction - the terrible situations you get yourself in, what you do to get high or to just avoid withdrawals. The routine and wasted time. The regular visits to the liquor store or dealer meetup. Trying to hide it from people - the shame (which they hardly did in this series). ~formerly addicted to alcohol, benzos, & stimulants. Still think about the latter, the rush & feeling ontop of the world, but since I got actual mental health treatment from pro, haven't felt the need.

You guys probably won’t probably see this but I’m rewatching your reaction for Season 4. Man to me that so deep for Lily to overcome that Soma drink that is like basically the most addictive substance in the world. They said that drink in myth makes your basically eternity drunk through body and soul forever even after death. Even after the intoxication is done, like having a good memory or stimulation that will stay in your brain forever and will always be on the front of your mind before anything else.
