honestly.....i forgot the captain died...lol my bad....i watched the previous movie...but i i dont remember as much...irontically i rmember the first 2 movies more than the 3rd lol but those are the ones i rewatched a lot when i was younger.

its embarassing forgetting...but it is what it is...will cut that from youtube lol

Dont feel bad because i feel like most fans would agree that the 3rd film was easily the worse one out of the 4. Cant speak to anyone elses order but for me bad boys 2 would be first, then this film bad boys 4, then the original bad boys, and last bad boys 3

My man Lee forgets the capt, but remembers and recognises the 1st debut appearance of Freya’s toes from 63 eps/9 years ago. That’s not being forgetful, that’s peak selective photographic memorisation baby. While this was a fun ride, it felt like a friday “let’s see what’s on Netflix” or direct to TV flick, could not imagine paying to see this in cinemas in this day and age compared to 1&2. A decent no. of jokes didn’t hit for me and the shakey cam action scenes are pretty tiring to watch compared to last decade imho Really endearing though to see his chemistry again with Martin Lawrence; probably the first male figure he’s hung out with in years that wasn’t his wife’s boyfriend 🤔

One thing to note is that the original Bad Boys 1 and 2 came out in 95 and 03. It wasn't a trilogy until 2020 and we all know what happened then.

I actually liked 3 too because of the family dynamic but I understand peoples grievances Martin Lawrence was so good in this one and that's probably what everyone expects from a bad boys film plus we still got the family stuff and Reggie Redemption in fact internally him gonna call this one Bad Boys 4 : Return of the Reggie (alternatively Revenge of the Reggie)

Yknow I'm pretty sure the bro who does the character Reggie has only acted in these films so he's probably the truest bad boy for life
