27:17 I understand that it's hard to come up with clever ideas in the pinch, but in a perfect world, she should have switched the sword to her other hand, then cut the demon's hand off, rather than panic-punching him. What I wouldnt give to have Rose call me disgusting to my face lol When I first watched/read this, I did NOT expect it to nearly bring a tear to my eye. When Rose's old team all got wiped out it hurt. Based on previous information, I had an idea something like that might have happened, but that knowledge didnt soften the blow one bit.

My reason is same as directors 1-1. Same reason i enjoyed Mushoku Tensei so much. We don't instantly go out slaying monsters and grinding exp. It takes time for MC to get into the mindset of an isekai slowly. Makes it much more realistic. I know you prefer more engaging action-y shows but lack of that and the slow pacing is why this one works. When it works it works. That's why i am still coping one day you will give Bakemonogatari a 2 episode try and realise its cool shit even tho has loli stuff. o7

I love ya Director, but I think you are wrong when talking like the demons are fighting to be free of oppression. The humans are not oppressing the demons, the human heroes stopped the demons from achieving their rightful place as the superior species ruling over all. It's a matter of perspective, how the humans view things vs how demons view things.

When this show aired (Jan-Mar 24') Rose's VA was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had ~1 yr left to live. She died in August... How's that for a gut punch if you knew this watching this episode while it aired....

But even That is not a great idea if it's not trained. Swinging with your off hand and generating enough power to cut through a hand is a tall ask. They really portray battles in this fairly realistically. Atleast from the knights. One of the many reasons I really like this show.

I don't understand why people think they are so sure what you will and won't like. Like point blank. You guys have such a wide range of tastes and are willing to check out new things all the time. I feel bad cause its semi rude to y'all. 🥺 I loved that you guys got so attached to these characters to really be affected by their deaths and how it affected Rose. That show good writing on the part of the mangaka and writer of the anime. 😊

Loved seeing how attached you all got to Rose's party. Because I too did as well, it was gut punch for me, but it also helps ya realize why Rose is so adamant to find someone who can do be her right hand person. Loved the reaction you all!
