Been having extreme low motivation and burnout recently, so I'm going to take the next month off (unless next minecraft update and optifine released early).

I know the fabric mods are already updated to 1.20.2 but I'm mostly using optifine to test my pack, so this update is still officially "for 1.20.1" but I guess yall can still use it in 1.20.2, just no guarantee it'll all work correctly.

Click on the files inside the folders individually to download them

  • Models: optional extra custom models, works with any res versions
  • Bonus: optional extra features that doesn't fit default gameplay
  • Addon: optional extra features that fits default gameplay
  • Mobs: mobs and animals
  • Items: items and armors
  • Basic: all essential block textures/models (required)


The "basic" pack need to be loaded at the bottom (just above default/mod resources), and the optional packs can be loaded on top in any order.


The pack works best with shaders that features LabPBR emission/SSS compatibilities.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each optional pack to see detail descriptions of what they add/how to use them, or how to remove unwanted features in the "models" pack.

!! Don't bother trying the 256x versions !!


For Optifine users -
Make sure these settings are set correctly:

  • "Quality Settings > Connected Textures" to Fancy
  • "Quality Settings > Natural Textures" to Off
  • "Quality Settings > Custom Colors" to On
  • "Quality Settings > Custom Entity Models" to On
  • "Quality Settings > Random Entities" to On
  • "Quality Settings > Anisotropic Filtering" to Off
  • "Detail Settings > Alternate Blocks" to On
  • "Detail Settings > Trees" to Smart or Fancy
  • "Performance Settings > Smart Animations" to On
  • "Shaders > Shader Options" and enable any LabPBR format emissive/sub-surface-scattering options


For Fabric / Iris mod users -
Make sure to install these mods:

  • Fabric
  • Fabric API
  • Iris
  • Indium
  • Continuity
  • Colormatic*
  • Entity Texture Features
  • Entity Model Features*
  • An Iris-supported shaderpack and enable any LabPBR format emissive/sub-surface-scattering options

* Some custom mob models and animations might not work correctly.
* Colormatic hasn't been updated for quite some time, please link your discord to patreon and join the patron discord server to find the temporary fix in the #modding channel.

Hi, i found a little issue with the texture pack. When u put 2 slabs above each other it converts into a bookshelf. It has to convert into wooden block.

I liked the texture pack so much, so keep working on it in other versions of Minecraft :)

that's not an issue, that's a feature of bonus pack, if you don't want it don't use the bonus pack

Any chance of getting a Colormatic fix for 256 version. That's what I'm currently using, getting over 70 fps, so I would really like to be able to get a fix for that. Also is there any plans to do the rain since the current rain is just normal minecraft rain?

1. Read the instructions 2. Rain texture is already done, you might have it disabled or using some mod/rp that's overwriting it

1. Already did that. The Chromatic fix in the discord doesn't have a 256 version. The fix doesn't work for 256. 2. I don't have it disabled. I don't use any mods that effect weather and I don't use any resource packs other than yours.

Hmm never noticed they didn't make a patch for 256x, but it's whatever since I don't really want to support 256x anyways, if you really wanted to use 256x I guess just use the 128x patch then. As for rain, I've already made rain texture and include it in the pack, so can't really help you there.

That's disheartening to hear about 256x. Which part is the rain included in? I might need to download it again incase it's corrupted.

Strange. Redownloaded and everything. The rain that is falling from the sky is still that ugly blue confetti looking rain.

Ok, btw can I teach you a trick, you know how tropical fish has like 100 unique textures? Only make like 15 textures and the copy those 15 for the rest!

By the way, if I run the 1.20.1 downloaded rescure pack in a lower version, e.g. 1.14, does that cause a problem or does it really matter? or should I simply download your 1.14 rescure pack?

The 256x texture pack works fine, I'm using RTX 3050, 16gb ram using 8gb for minecraft, FastPBR shader and the physics mod. It is giving me 47-60 FPS at best.

I do not know if it is because I am not doing something right, but my animal textures are broken while using 64x 128x or 256x. I have mobs above basic so I think this may be a bug

The 256x texture pack is giving me 2 fps, but I'm using an RTX 4090. I'm looking at the Performance Overlay that NVidia has, and it says my GPU utilization is averaging 10%. It's probably a RAM issue and I don't know how to dedicate RAM to minecraft. I'm also using SEUS PTGI HRR 3 shaders with the texture pack.

Go to your minecraft launcher, go to the installations tab on java, click on the three dots next to the installation you want to allocate more ram to, click edit, click more options, it will say "-Xmx2G -XX..." switch that 2 to half as many gigabytes of ram that you have, click save.

Just wanna say, that this is the most beautiful resource pack I’ve ever played with. You are doing an amazing job, everything looks so good. There is so many things that leaves me speachless. All the hard work and dedication you put in all those details. Thank you for this pack. Lack of motivation is completely normal it will eventually come back around. whats the best shader to use with patrix? also is there a way to make it so that sand and grass will like merge and stuff? when they are next to eachtoher like in real life or like in optimum realism connected textures

I have some color issues with this pack. I'm using the 64x with SEUS renewed on 1.20.1 All looks amazing but some of the texture color are not correct. Sometimes the quartz slabs appear orange instead of white, some diorite walls are doing the same... I've tried many things but the issue still there. Even without any other ressource pack and without any shader the issue is there. I've done all the recommanded settings but it doesn't solve the issue :/
