I had slowed it down and paused it numerous times when I saw this over the weekend, they used actual impact frames and they do not disappoint 😮‍💨 i’m honestly even more impressed because the studio that did this (Bug films) it’s their first anime project they’ve released since releasing starting up as their own studio

Yes, sharks have a weak point being either their gills or nose. In order to deter a shark you need to punch/hit them hard enough in the nose, which completely disorients the shark before it moves on about its day.

Honestly, I've been thinking Akira looks like Midoriya ever since Ep. 2, so I loved the hero theme this week (and I was cracking up at your MHA commentary). I can see both. The huge eyes full of wonder for Deku, and the wide mouth smile plus a little bit of his hair for Luffy. But bc his eyes make up a huge amount of his face, I see Deku more lol

So apparently the studio behind this anime went so hard on the first ep that it crashed the entire production and they now have to rely on outsourcing the eps. Studio shaft is credited in the OP so its safe to say that they are involved in this project probably why the animation was a lot better this ep also they are taking another 1 week break ep 6 comes out the 27th but this time its because of the 2023 World Athletics Championships

From my understanding is not whole eps or even majority that are being outsourced. Almost every anime has outsourced material in it and a OP or ED being outsourced while not common isn't exactly that rare either. I'm not sure to what extent the outsourcing is going to but so far through ep5 its almost all bug films the original studio staff credited for everything that is important. Maybe the heavier outsourcing will start with ep6 but so far no credits or anything I've seen implies total or even heavy outsourcing.
