I understand a lot of people disliking anime dub as a whole, but Baki has a pretty good quality dub, especially when compared to other animes with lower voice acting budget, it's pretty good. But if you prefer to listen with subtitles, that's fine, nothing is wrong with that, I think sub is typically better in most instances
