lol with Mitsuri's sword it goes into the sheath by folding which they show in the manga on like a extra page where they show us how it would look in the sheath. Guess they just didn't explain for the joke in the end

Roshi was thinking what I was thinking. The wind hashira was even harder on tanjiro and nezuko than anyone else. also iirc Kanroji told tanjiro that the wind hashira said he didn't have a brother and when genya went to find his sword he said "aniki" clearly reminiscing on something. so i think whatever happened to genya caused a deep rift in their relationship. maybe that's why he was so insistent on getting his sword as quickly as possible after final selection. I also think it probably is related to injuries and/or emotions because at the end of the Mugan Train movie when the crow was delivering the message about Rengoku's death Genya was with the stone hashira and I'm pretty sure the chant he was saying when he was injured is the same one the stone hashira kept saying. so maybe it's something that helps him maintain control. like his own version of woosah.

Yeah bro Mitsuri's sword is the best. I love how curvy it is, how thick, yet slim it is, the color; the blue and purple on that blade really shines with the thunderbolts on the handle, really a work of art. I'm geekin out... over the sword.

The sword Kanroji has is actually based on a real weapon called the "Urumi". It's was mostly used in India I believe, takes quite the amount of skill to wield!

Sword whips are used in a very neat performative martial art in India, I'm 90%sure that's where her swords inspired from. I'm also still pissed tanjiro sees "the samurai with the earrings" but still can't link it back to his dad's dance. Also it's pretty cool that coal tanjiros familly were coal burners, coal goes from black to bright red when you heat it up enough.

If those are the spoilers people were so worried about the whole time I feel like it was silly to not watch the intro from ep 1. The only thing was the love hashira's sword. I think if yous were worried about that being a spoiler, than showing more of upper 4's powers that haven't been seen in the show yet would be more of a spoiler.

There are no well-developed characters in this show. I feel like that’s kinda of the point - an iconic shonen protagonist surrounded by a bunch of cardboard cutouts in a ultra-compressed sakuga festival. It’s a good formula for all ages, but beyond Tanjiro, there isn’t a character with even a kiddy pool’s worth of depth.

Smithing takes a lot of time and energy, watch blacksmith videos and you will see, just because you can make a tool doesn’t mean you will be able to use it right away, they would have to learn how to properly use the blade and how to destroy a demon which takes time away from being a smith; just cause you can fix a sickle doesn’t make you a farmer

I think the four guys are still alive because when Tanjiro did his thing, it was a clean cut. But with Genya it wasn’t as clean and the guys jaw was missing so I think maybe instead of cutting with the sword, he might have ripped his head off instead which wouldn’t actually kill him since we’ve seen other demons knock each others top head off and be fine because it’s not with a sword. That’s my 2 cents

if it was any other demon the villagers could just run but an upper moon as faster than hashiras so they have to make sure the demon stays to fight otherwise if they run away 1st the demon will fuck em up and use them to kill the hashira
