I'd rather them watch the show with the strongest 1st episode and animation this season over a onetime spin-off. If they don't fuck up the story, I can already see this being a top anime of the year. Plus, it's not like they'll never watch the Konosuba spinoff. It's just pushed back and would be closer to whenever the new season comes out. It's quite literally a win-win if you vote Heavenly Delusion. It's only 13 eps anyways if you for some reason hate good animation, storytelling and directing. Won't last too long.

It's a moot point now, as they're gonna watch both, but your third paragraph feels kinda condescending. "If you don't like this show, you hate good storytelling and directing." It's fine to advocate for a show you like, and it's fine to share your opinion, but there's really no need to make it negative.
