Glad they had actual accents for the English speakers. Plus Rin's Japanese English was unironically pretty good!

Jazko

BlueLock is better than Haikyuu in 24 episodes

Devin B

I liked how anticlimactic the last point was cause it plays into the theme of luck. Usually in sports anime the battle for the last point is the most tense moment but sometimes the game can end on a coincidence like this.

eastbaynick

So fun fact,Julian Loki is based on kylian mbappe, who currently plays for psg

MonarchXIII

Bachira WAS going to pick Isagi. He only said what he said because now that he can fight without him it feels right to pick him now

Panda

It's not that it feels right, its the other way around. By him not "needing" isagi in particular, he would just want the best player. In this case tho, he was saying that best player would be isagi.

ClayPM

They're not real guys but the only one i know is based on a real player is Julian Loki from france. Just like you guessed, he is based on Kylian Mbappe the final boss who tried to stop messi from winning the world cup. Adam Blake is "maybe" inspired by a guy called giroud but I'm only sure about Loki.

MonarchXIII

Sorry yeah that's what I meant. It's just that I didn't know how to phrase it properly haha

Omar Bautista

You mean robbed from getting his second world cup after wining 2 goals in the final 10 mins of the match. but honestly was a fun finale was almost looking like the most boring way to win a world cup

MM

That Engrisheu was not bad lol

Edd R

The manga yea but ur smoking cock if u think the anime is better

Diego

I’d say Adam Blake is more similar to Harry Kane

Gladeez

This is not the last episode btw

fall ocean

Yes, there is one more episode, this season has 24 like most other anime, can’t wait for Saturday!

Sergio

yea roshi looked it up. they’re based off of real players.

godUsoland

Random Mbappe about to come and destroy Isagi's dreams lol. Ain't no way Isagi and Rin are gonna do anything against a team of 5 All Star Strikers lol. They are actual Pros

Dre626

I hope they end it with the kunigami thing. Ifykyk💯

Erica Collins

Nah they definitely let them get that point on purpose just like when Rin & Isagi first went up against each other and isagi got the first point and then Rin's team turned up on them. Yeah they're getting cooked next episode. I can feel it 😭

Hello

I Don't play sports like that but that gotta be one of the worst feelings losing to something like that. Probably just below losing to a bad ref call lol

Trist9n

They're based off real players just not their actually name I'm pretty sure the French dude is supposed to be Kylian Mbappé

2023-03-24 01:58:34 So does Isagi just leave his stuff behind or does he go back to his old teams room and pick it up later?

So does Isagi just leave his stuff behind or does he pick it up later from his old teams room?

Dre626

That would be ideal fr💯 cause if we talking character development. He got hit with a whole soccer ball full of it🤣

Sparky

Tbf the world 5 did nothing but just watch them score that first goal lmao they about to cook the blue lock team fr

Princceee

lupas nipples staring at me..

Aziz Razak

We're probably gonna see the result only as a cliffhanger and get the whole match during s2

Thetrillest Khi

he was still gonna pick isagi he was just saying he could do it without it meaning he needed him

Harmonial

Finally, my boy Loki is here

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Adamantite Momon

^ one time the floodlights inside the stadium went off just as the one my teammate’s shot went in, the ref did not acknowledge the goal and we lost the match 🫠..but yeah mostly its the bad ref calls which irritates me, for eg, bad offside calls especially in local tournaments with no technology to cross check these calls

KeYo

i like that they got voice actors to represent the international players. very nice touch. i aint gonna lie i immediately thought david beckham but oops lol

Gustavo

Glad that you guys had some time off :) now back to work!

Devin B

@Adamantite Momon nah that's a trash way to lose. In general bad calls hurts the most cause it can not only take away the advantage you had in the game but it can also stop your flow when you get things going.

Polygon

none of the World 5 have foreign voice actors though. Even Adam is voiced by a Japanese VA who happens to be fluent in English. I'll give them credit for attempting French, Spanish, etc. accents but their native Japanese accents are still very strong lol

Daylen

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that all members of the world 5 are based on real players

Kumi Chan

Yeah they take inspiration from pro players, One of them being similar to mbappe

Victor

I'd say Julian Loki is based on Kylian Mbappe and Adam Blake is based on Harry Kane (he's from English and has similar build). The other are 3 probably based on real players too, but I'm not sure who exactly they are. Maybe Dada Silva is based on Hulk/ Adriano because of his build and he's from Brazil?

Victor

If they strictly followed the manga, what happened to Reo and Kunigami would be included in this episode. I think we will get that in the first episode of season 2.

Mad4Life

lol why every reactor assuming that this the last episode? What anime even ends at 23 nowadays?

Trequan Williams

Bro there aren’t words to explain how much I loved the Isagi and nagi duo it really hurt me they got split up

Maxxy

I'm sorry blue lock is good but it's no haikyuu, characters lack a lot of dept to be on the same level. Haikyuu brought me to tears at every finale, I get no such feeling from blue lock. Blue lock is haikyuu if everyone was an asshole basicly. No filler sport shonen

naa

@maxxy - exactly. the people who think that blue lock is better than haikyuu are the ones who only have the attention span to enjoy shounen series made for 13 year old boys. don't get me wrong, people are free to have preferences, but no way you think blue lock is an objectively better series compared to haikyuu

Curtis Pleasant

dang lupa got his whole nipple out

marii

manga reader here and you guys gonna love this show so much everything is hype it hasn’t died down yet

KeYo

for real? wow that japanese VA is amazing then. i couldnt even tell. i legit thought that was a an englishman talking but shit thats awesome

Michael Colmenares

nonstop hype, i think the manga got about 100 chapters left before it starts to run out of ideas tho

jogurtowski

Blake is probably Kane, Dada is probably Hulk, Luna is Marco Asensio and Cabassos is Dybala

Kk

bachira was gonna pick him he was just saying he didnt need to pick him but he wants to as before he felt he needed isagi to move on and rank up when they started this phase

YungZeus

Too bad the anime is a slideshow tho. This shit would would 10x better.

Kumi Chan

I think they meant the other way around. Bachira thought isagi wasn't going to pick him because he was falling behind in that match

Stephen D

Well Nagi has his phone, so I assume they have a few personal items.

Tmob7

My guy said p90x no way 😂

JG

I think to your eternity season 1 ended with like 21 or 23 episodes or something? Its super odd to see that tho fs

2023-03-30 10:21:28 I can't believe how entertaining this episode was! and Isagi losing was unexpected but the way they created all that hype was great. So many cool characters!
2023-03-30 08:20:41 I can't believe how entertaining this episode was! and Isagi losing was unexpected but the way they created all that hype was great. So many cool characters! Okay the Luck explanation was pretty hard to understand, so what I think he meant was that Rin positioned himself so that if he happened to get lucky and receive the ball then he could turn that luck into a score, thus winning the game. Isagi's question was "how did I lose to you, was it really just luck?" The answer is: No, Rin factored in the Luck into winning the game by positioning himself where he turned the Luck into a win. He could have "decelerated" like everyone else had and then if he had gotten Lucky and got the ball then he wasn't going to be able to turn the Luck into a win since they said Isagi's teammates would have swamped him and prevented him from scoring. So yeah, the key was to position yourself where you could add meaning to getting Lucky by turning the Luck into a win, which was what Rin did. I have to mention the pigeon analogy, LMAO that was hilarious. Ego: Let me ask you a question. Have you ever been shat on by a pigeon? Roshi&Me: What kind of analogy is that??? Sheera&Lupa: Yes, yes we have. Me: Oh shit, so this analogy turned out to be surprisingly relatable then? LOL

William Morris

no game no life explained it so much better. luck is just a case of a bunch of factors that don't seem to correlate together being used to predict the outcome of something "unpredictable"

Kitko

Lol Mushoku Tensei did cause the first cour was only 11 episodes. Lots of anime have weird numbers nowadays
