I like how the red light effect around Yumeko that is seemingly just for effect and not actually happening in the show itself, actually shines on Sumeragi in the shot right after. That was a nice touch.

Definitely makes sense to accuse Yumeko. She was like, "I have a feeling something thrilling is gonna happen" or something along those lines. And she relishes in chaotic gambling.

From my interpretation of what's going on in the game they basically assumed that in the first round one person put all their coins in the personal bank box to get a headstart on the others in getting 40 coins. It wouldn't be profitable to put 1 or 2 coins in the personal box in the beginning cause after they announce the results of the first round they'll know that someone didn't put all their coins in the tax box and they'll start to put less coins in there after that round meaning not everyone will make 40 coins in the end. Basically the first round was a chance to get the most coins before being suspected of being a traitor.
