That is why this show was kinda iffy with me when I watched it, because the games go however it needs to for the plot, unlike NGNL where they explain the skill involved and how someone outsmarted the other.. here there is pure dumb luck and impossible plays involved, lmao. I guess it was kinda funny watching Sheera be hyper with supporting Yumeko when they were literally saying the other girl was letting her win 2 games, and then Yumeko wins the final game with PURE luck.... like how does she pick Mary out of all of them, and then NOT know her birthday, but STILL win, lmao.

I think that's a fine reason to not like the show, but it's also p. clear from the first few episodes that it's about the spectacle and the character writing, not any real puzzle or mystery solving. Just not the manga/anime's priority.

Yeah, that's true. I think it is pretty good still, but I guess Yumeko becomes a bit too insane with how much she loves gambling. I don't know who to support and follow. Yumeko is too insane, and the guy she is with who we started the show with, is way too much of a wimp to support. I guess we just need to stand by and be entertained lol, but I would have liked someone to "identify" with as the story progresses.
