I'm so glad y'all are liking this show and I highly recommend you get the manga Roshi. It's one of my fav mangas and has amazing art, especially with the facial expressions which you can see translated pretty well in the anime.

I started reading the manga last year after since the anime was taking too long to come out. The Election arc is something else. It's great. the only bad thing now is that I have to wait a month in between chapters :(

In this school I think you get ranked depending on how much you earn every ranking time, and when the people with lowest earnings become house pets. So not gambling is not an option. The key is to do a lot of games with small stakes. Do not challenge people who are high ranking people, and do not play games based on skills or use specialized tools, if possible bring ur own tools.

To clarify a bit the student council president cheated on behalf of Yuriko. Yuriko didn't didn't know that the president was going to do that for her. So Yumeko didn't get outplayed since there was literally nothing she could've done to counter that in that scenario.

I get that Suzui can be annoying but considering that they're gambling at such high stakes and these council members are gonna get crazier and crazier, Suzui is a good friend for Yumeko to remind her of the reality of the situation which she appreciates because Suzui is one of the few genuinely nice people at this school and if Yumeko thought he was useless she would have already berated him by now. And these stakes are definitely gonna become higher in much more dangerous ways I can tell you that

Kinda like how even though they are playing for money, each character is really playing for something else. Blonde girl was playing for housepets, Girl last episode was playing for nails. And Oni girl is playing, to not get stressed (which leads to beauty I guess). Even tho Oni girl won this episode she got stressed the fuck out over MCs plays, and in that way she took the L since MC doesn't give a fuck about being in debt.
