DayBlaze

Yooo, love these reactions, so dope

NecDW4

Cocyutus be like: "Yeah, Ainz VS Shalchair is like Nago VS Ram"

DayBlaze

Season 3 gets to see that lovely bone structure when he fucks some dude up

None None

I remember the first time they watched this and had no idea what the hell was going on in this fight. They've come a long way since 2018.

David

"The goal of all life is death" = insta kill magic /"cry of the banshee" = reduces all resistances to make sure it kills

Thamor

Almost guys done with season 1 again and this time you have actually followed the story compared to years back =). Excited for you to actually see new content that you have never seen in Overlord.

LiquidXGravity

So next week will be the last episode of season 1 and the 1st episode of season 2 😁😁

freshyjazzy12 .

Oh nice, I always thought Cry of the Banshee widened the area of effect so that it would actually reach Shalltear

Aidan Navarro

Can’t wait for s2 reaction

obey

I’m just curious will we be able to get the last episode tomorrow since you guys are about finished with season 1?

DevilMayCarter

Over-commit, that's what you get!

Jonathan

Ains out here getting ready to start his Elden Ring playthrough

lyssa

Hope they watch the ending song for S2 it’s pretty good

Randle Dandle

Skill: [The Goal of All Life is Death] an extremely rare skill almost only Ainz has as most people who chose the class never maxed it out. It is an enhancement for any instant kill spell (grasp heart, cry of banshee, etc) that makes it 100% effective, Resurrection is always an option but you WILL die. It's an absolutely guaranteed kill, and one of Ainz's only really good abilities.

Arkan Matlub

Bro "Mimic Tear" lmfaooo

None None

I remember people saying Ainz had a non-competitive "roleplay" build. Is The Goal of All Life is Death supposed to be one of those flashy "super move" skills in RPGs that are really cool and powerful, but they rarely work on bosses, have an obscene cooldown, and are so far down the skill tree that most people consider it a waste of skill points?

Argent6

imagine getting clapped by that insta kill skill and all you see is white around you lol

ComradeSilva

Kind of. It actually kills literally everything, not even a boss would be spared. In the novel, even the fucking air around Ainz that the [Cry of the Banshee] passed through died, because it was enhanced by [The Goal of All Life is Death].

シュモーク

Man Ains has every incantation and the FP to use them all in a row without a potion.

Random Guy

Considering the following factors, you can see just how skilled Ainz is 1. Shalltear is pretty much the strongest floor guardian overall. Gargantua has better stats but her abilities make shalltear the better attacker. 2. Ainz is not wearing his god items 3. Ainz isn't even built for PVP. His main build was for farming resources to maintain the guild while his friends quit. If it was me tho i'd just use my god weapons and run over shalltear without going through all this trouble.

Requiem_Phantom

Hey for the next poll or recommendation lists for anime, ya'll should add Gintama. It's a great top tier anime, especially on the comedy. Though it is pretty long, so it would be a long journey to watch it all.

Violet

The spell he used is (The gol if all life is death) witch is an instant death spell

Ryan Hill

I've always thought that Ainz has access to powerful abilities through the necromancer class, but we don't see how powerful the other classes that would have been top tier/meta were. So to us and his new world Ainz is op, but if he had minmax'd his build, like say Shalltear's is, he would be magnitudes more op.

Maxxy

The goal of all life is death nullifies resistances against death spells at the cost of giving your spells a 12 second cast time, ainz killed everything in the area, including the ground and air itself, shltear only lived due to a resurrection item she had.

Skebaba

Yeah Goal of All Life is Death basically switches Off any Immunity/Invulnerability/Immortality flavor texts on anything, on a CONCEPTUAL level (so even the surrounding atmosphere will die, even tho air can't literally die in the sense that our understanding defines life & death, but this skill causes the air to die regardless of reality, essentially creating some 100m2 vacuum surrounding the caster, until the air from outside that AoE comes rushing in to fill the new void)

Randle Dandle

You are mostly right, Ainz made his build mostly for roleplay as the big final boss and options that would help him run the tomb on his own. However, I don't think most people even knew about the skill. Yggdrasil was a HUGE and heavily monetized game, almost nobody was able to afford the money/time necessary to get as far as Ainz did in his class with the help of his guild.

Randle Dandle

In yggdrasil the spell only afftect things the game had coded as killable, but the new world is "REAL" so... that was just one example of how the spell performs when mixed with cry of banshee, maybe your entire vascular system explodes if he uses it with grasp heart.

Randle Dandle

The game probably had some mechanics that prevented GALD from being OP in yggdrasil, but the new world is real... My guess is that it can kill just about anything now.

Randle Dandle

btw, If shalty didn't have that resurrection item fromher creator Ainz could have just OHK with the goal of all life is death. unfortunately, she did, which means that she would have summoned Einherjar and her household and jumped him the moment she came back to life.

Yanpo

I wonder if Death Magic in this setting simply breaks molecules down to their base elements. That would explain why even inanimate objects "die".

Blackhart

Ainz do be like "All according to keikaku"

emma

you guys should react to the movie children of the sea its a beautiful animation(if you ever do there is a after credit scene)

Aswind

Why no one ever notices that the skill he uses kills everything around, to the point that even the ground became a desert?

Grelk

in the LN it even 'killed' the air lmao

Lupa is Dadi

Has Roshi ever showed his feet on cam before?

Chinese Cartoons

Please check out Ya Boy Kongming when you have an open slot!

WuffleIron

Btw, a little bit off topic, but has Roshi done anything with his wok yet? I don't follow streams or discord actively, but I think in one of his earlier Elden Ring streams, it got mentioned that they had gotten a wok for fried rice.

HalfroSamurai

Sheera and the Fallen Order stream chat was roasting him about the wok collecting dust a few days ago.

AllB

roshi still gotta prove to us that he actually uses the wok

None None

While we're on the subject, did Lupa ever get his ice cube maker that makes those huge round ice spheres?

Nasty

yes that is such a good show. It is for sure one of the best shows this season of animes.

Ethan

We need to have a food stream where Roshi uses the wok and Lupa makes drinks with those big ice spheres

MaybeNextTime

Will you guys watch Ya Boy Kongming?

Lazy Mike

what about no game no life movie ?

Mari

Nah I wish he did, bet they’re scrumptious 😋😋

Outcast107

So no cuts this time around from the fight (At least nothing that will change the story) So the reason Shalltear acted strangely during the conversation is that when she was hit by that Spell to mind control her. She killed the caster before the spell could be finished. So she went into a default NPC raid boss mode. Attacking anything that comes near her.

Mari

Yeah, thanks for telling them that, all 3 of them were confused asl

Paulothy

Im just now noticing the way he says that the name Ains Oal Gown can't lose is because that was the guilds name. I forgot he took it as his own and that's why he keeps saying that the name is so important and great

HopelesslyImmersed

That and he's trying to spread the name to see if any player character recognizes his guild name

HessianX

No Lupa-san, you will not hypnotize me with your waving arms.

Stephen Choi

abit off. he was waiting for her to summon Einherjar so he could kill it. When she revived she was back to full hp. but her mana and skills were still 0 from fight

Randle Dandle

Stephen Choi none of those tactics would be necessary if not for the resurrection item, without it Ainz could have instakilled shalltear while she was standing around waiting. Perorocino was a min/max tryhard who even thought of counters for shalltear being instakilled.

Zohnty Luwang

guys please season 2 ...

TinyChicken

is there a season finale reaction?

QBTHEKING23

They've reacted to almost every big anime except Black Clover. I hope they react to it soon

razgrizraven

They gotta get through the last episode of S1 first. We all know they gonna be reacting to S2 & 3.

A1_MiLFshAkE

The Elden Ring references are always a treat Shalltear legit pulled out a mimic xD

I remember that that’s that experience showing now 😂

Oliver

They have seen it. But could be nice with a brush up

QBTHEKING23

Wait so they've even seen the Spade Kingdom war Arc. I don't understand why they wouldn't react to that?

Russ K

It’s like coming up the melenia and having to win first try

Fabi

I remember hearing that Ainz is not supposed to be that big. only normal human size

Osler

Bit late to respond and I apologize for that. I don't have the LN open at the moment, but if memory serves me correctly... Ainz did pursue the theme of necromancy for his character, and intentionally turned away from things, such as classes, that would give him direct and tangible power boosts if they conflicted with his necromancy theme. When he reached character level 95, he discovered he'd gained a new class he'd never heard of before, called Eclipse. When he then leveled the Eclipse class to 5 (and reached the character level limit of 100) he was granted the skill The Goal of All Life is Death, which was themed around the pinnacle of necromantic powers. If I recall, the skill has a 72-hour cooldown, and it alters the next instant-death spell cast by the user to be delayed 12 seconds, but to bypass all immunities after that delay.
