Second Series is where I think Monogatari really becomes Monogatari. It's a fucking ride that flips the show on its head so hard that Bakemonogatari somehow retroactively turns into a different show the second time you watch it.

Break's after this one right? Since Neko Shiro is apart of second season. But anyway, enjoyed the reaction, i do agree that Hanekawa's got to save herself. A part of me does think that Araragi did actually like her but was just in denial or being all unreliable narrator about it

Monogatari white is not these events but from future events of the second season. The next thing on the watch order is Monogatari Series: Second Season(which include the following Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari, Onimonogatari and Koimonogatari)

The "I don't know everything. I only know what I know" line wasn't something Hanekawa got from Araragi. He was quoting her, and he even said "So say it like you always do." Plus she wouldn't remember him saying it anyway since her memories of Golden Week got clapped. Also, I've said it before but I'll say it again: I fucking love the music in this show, especially little moments like them playing a bit of Senjougahara's theme/OP when she's "introduced" at the end.

They didn’t start at nise, bake-Kizu-nise-neko-mono 2 1-11- hana- mono 2 12-26- Tsuki-koyomi-owari s1,s2-zoku, that’s the order I’m watching in lol but they started at bake they following this order so far

Araragi's sister is still his sister whether or not she's human and he's fine with that, but here Hanekawa called herself a human even though at that moment she can't be considered as one.

This is kind of why araragi doesn't date hanekawa. They would be toxic as fuck because they are both the type to sacrifice themselves over the slightest thing. Whereas senjougahara is greedy enough to actually look out for herself and it balances araragi's personality out.

Oshino wasn't defending Hanekawa's parents. Araragi has idolized Hanekawa ever since he met her because he thought she was a perfect person who knew everything and always did the right thing. Oshino was pointing out that she's just a regular person and that if Araragi wants to save her it shouldn't be because he thinks she's perfect and can do no wrong. Araragi responds by confirming that's not why he's going to save her. He's realized the version of Hanekawa he idolized isn't real and he's going to accept the real her as a friend along with all her flaws and troubles.

For Monogatari Second Season the order should be: Neko (White) => Kabuki => Otori => Oni => Koi => Hana I know people will say Hana is out of place but certain events (those who know, know) will have more of an impact if Hana is watched last.

I THINK the reason why Black Hanekawa doesn't wear clothes is because the only clothes she has is her own school uniform. So of course black Hanekawa wouldn't want to wear it.

True. There's another reason that Hanekawa and Araragi don't date, though: her approach doesn't work on him at this point in his life. Senjougahara's approach does. Hanekawa drops constant hints that she's interested, but she's forever waiting for him to turn their friendship into a relationship, which he just isn't going to do. Senjougahara, on the other hand, is way more explicit - declares she loves him outright, asks him on their first date, and so on. At this point in his life, Araragi responds to that.

I love how Oshino says "everyone has things they can't say on impulse" with regard to Hanekawa/Araragi not saying "I love you", since it also refers to how Oshino himself can't say "goodbye" even when he ought to.

yo just wanted to drop a couple clarifications about araragi going into her house and not perceiving her room it is true she doesnt have a room her things are just all over the house where she needs them to be like he futon she sleeps at in a hallway and stuff and also on another note "she is a child", ma'am hanekawa is both physically and mentally an adult she is already 18 both hanekawa and senjougahara are legally adults so they do have to take responsibility for their actions as oshino stated not defending his case but knowing hanekawa she was deliberately messing with her foster parents she cant retaliate physically so she went all in on the mental warfare and then she started to retaliate physically when she got the cat

The fact that her reaction to getting hit was "You shouldn't hit girls, you know :)" says a lot about how smug and condescending Hanekawa is toward her parents, even if she doesn't realize she is. Imagine you've been raising this girl for 15 years and she refuses to show any emotion toward you beyond scolding you like a child. Just like Black Hanekawa, her parents had to deal with that stress for over a decade and finally it just reached a point where they had to do something. Oshino's point was to warn Araragi that he doesn't know the whole story, so he shouldn't take Hanekawa's situation at face value. Yes, her parents were at fault for hitting her, but Hanekawa isn't innocent. The cat is a metaphor for that. The cursed cat is the "abuser" and Hanekawa is the victim (note that the cat's SUPPOSED to play the victim and drive whoever helps it into doing bad things, but Hanekawa out-victimed it and started driving it to do bad things in her name). They're both fairly harmless on their own. It's when both sides contribute to the problem that it becomes Black Hanekawa, who's legitimately dangerous.

Just gonna drop the recommended watch order for the rest of the monogatari series that most other react channels used so far. Neko (shiro) -> Kabuki -> Otori -> Oni -> Koi -> Hana -> Tsuki -> Owari (part 1) -> Koyomi -> Owari (part 2) -> Zoku-Owari It's been a hell of a ride so far but that's nothing compared to the madness that has yet to come.

Happy to have the worst parts of this series over with. Monogatari series Second Season has some of the best arcs in all of anime, as it focuses less on araragi's fan-service-filled arcs, and more on perspectives of interesting characters. Not to say that nise and neko (kuro) are bad, but they're definetly underwhelming compared to arcs like Otori- and Koimonogatari. I hope you start the next arc soon, hopefully the break isn't so long, cheers!

...I mean, they literally do not need to know Neko-Kabuki-Otoroi-Oni-Koi because those are ALL in Second Season of the anime, so if they continue with that, they'll be fine. People here make this more complicated than it needs to be. Since they already went and swapped Kizu to after Bake, the rest of what they have to watch is basically anime release order.

Hanamonogatari was intended to be part of all the arcs released with second season, but because of some issues, it got delayed and released later. Same thing happened with the kizu movies, which is why most people watch them between bake and nise, even though they were released way later.
