It's canon, each arc of the show is a novel and the movie is just the novel after that. It just worked better as a standalone than it would shoved into a possible season 2 in the future.

I feel like it kinda goes over peoples heads that Mai already decided to go back to show biz before even talking to Sakuta this episode. He didn’t convince her tonight or force her by calling the reporter, what he said to her in episode one sat with her for a few weeks and she came to the decision on her own terms

So far it feels to me like a strange mash-up of Monogatari, Haruhi, and Hyouka, but without any of the experimental aspects that made those shows stand out. EDIT: Yeah, the light novel was released all the way back in 2014. That would explain why it's drawing so heavily from Hyouka and Monogatari.

So the light novel that this show is based on has a different title for every volume, it makes it so every volume focus on a single person and what is happing to them. The only words that stay the same is "Rascal Does Not Dream"

its not all chocolate. pocky has different flavors. they even have a version of it in italy. its a cookie like confection and you can get it cream filled or just have an outer coating. i've only had the strawberry kind. you will find matcha/green tea, vanilla, banana, etc etc. they good, just not mind blowing like folks make them out to be. i dont get why they are so popular personally. i'll take chips instead please

On the train of Bunny girl senpai, Golden Time and Oregairu SNAFU is DEFINITELY another type of anime with similiar feeling that you would love to watch. The plots different and a lot is different but basically, the feeling you get when watching it is the same as when watching Bunny girl senpai
