Guys the hair dying is a culture thing. Idk if it still is but back when this was being animated it was looked upon poorly to dye/bleach your hair blonde like that, it signified delinquent behavior. I also believe in some areas in Japan it was actually illegal in some highschools as well

Most of high schools in Japan u have to have black hair. Kitamura changed his hair color just because he wanted to do bad thing and that is very childish behavior.

Exactly. Like in Tokyo Revengers, you see all the characters have these wild hairstyles with all or some bleached hair in it. Culturally, it signifies their being delinquent.

i think in japan its all about the status quo, so him dying his hair is extra bad because hes standing out instead of fitting in with everyone else. i think a lot of asian countries are more collectivist and more western countries are individualist. so we dont see the problem, but in japan its wierd and probably offensive in a way.
