As a manga reader I'm not sure why someone would tell you not to watch the intro. The "spoilers" are only spoilers when you know the context of it all, if you don't then it's not something that will hurt you in the long run. It's a sick OP, and the visuals are great. I definitely think you guys should watch it next episode.

There are just certain small images you can see that help you put things together. They may not see the intro and immediately say "oh wow ____ will happen" but i've seen them constantly predicted something early bc "oh wait the opening definitely hinted at that". for a few different shows

They looked like the really improved on the 3D titans this time around, many of the shots look more 2D and traditional, it blends pretty well compared to part 1. Hope its not a case of "more budget focused on episode 1 than the others" for Mappa.

Though I see it for the worlds case since an island is abysmal compared to the rest of the world. Eren dying won’t solve everything

They're just fighting back. It's getting messy but I'm never going to fault The Paradis island people because they didn't ask for this or start it. i get where you're coming from but lets be real it is not "only obvious if you've read the manga" it is straight-up spoiler territory, and I respect if they want to wait until after the show to listen. And overall I think AoT holds a much higher standard when it comes to plot and major events than shield hero did.

To be fair, people give shit to crappy CG everywhere. Not just AoT. AoT just has the advantage of telling a better story than many so people are willing to look past it, but it's still crappy CG. The new art style going for a more realistic and/or detailed approach probably makes it even harder to implement right.

My thoughts are that Eren is waiting for that last second switch. I don't know what he's planning exactly, but I'm certain he didn't just switch up on his comrades let alone his life long friends. He's waiting to get his hands on that trigger, hands on Zeke, and he's going to do something surely. He just needs those that are for Zeke to get him close enough and whatever it is, it's enough to make Eren risk everything, even the trust of those closest to him. Did he say some messed up things? Absolutely, push them away make it seem like you're absolutely for the cause.

Eren was being way too passive (standing around) in that fight once Porkchop showed up for him to NOT be up to something. Also, his Titan is screaming an awful lot there at the end. Every time a Shifter in Titan form screams that much, there's gonna be backup of some kind.
