This episode really made Zenitsu shine. I always wondered if he lost consciousness through a knock out would his other identity take hold. I wonder how Sanji would've handled seeing a lady abusing a little girl 🧐 I flinched so hard in the end. I knew it was coming but the eerily slow encroachment of her bindings still ended up getting me.

I think the woman from the start was someone from years ago, when the woman who got dropped talked about Women who all had "Hime" in their last names I think she was talking about Daki who had been changing her name in every town over the years.

Flashback was from the Edo era, which began in the 1603 and end in 1867, while Demon Slayer’s era is in Taisho, which is 1912 - 1926. The Madam who died was the Madam from Zenitsu’s house. Basically, Lupa will now be clapped in the comments

Well, Lupa got clapped (again) XD. Daki seems to be a little arrogant and overconfident, may be that's how the boys will clap her when she lets her guard down. It keeps bothering me about how the Upper Moon can identify and capture Tengen's wives, as she clearly is in one of the houses, but they were infiltrating in three separate houses. I suppose that she have her underlings do the deed, and that's what Inosuke was chasing.

The first flashback was several decades before, Second lady was 2 days before the demon slayers showed up.

The black and white flashback takes place in the Edo Period so it is like 100-300 years before the current period of the series (Taisho period).

No Lupa, what are YOU talking about? The way they showed it seemed pretty clear to me it WASN'T the same chick. Roshi's using his common sense. Why would they show the same thing twice? One was in black and white, indicating that it took place a LONG time ago. One started off in a red filter, and ended in color, indicating that it was recent.

I don't blame Lupa for being confused though, because the way it was done was a bit confusing at first. If you look closely, you realize it was a flashback from long ago, which also connects with the more recent murdered lady telling her the story about the grandma telling her about the other "himes", etc. Basically, it shows that Daki has been around doing this stuff for a LONG time, which must be why Muzan is warning her now, that if she gets too cocky it will be the end of her.

The original 5 who passed the slayer corps exam represent the 5 senses so kanao, scar dude, zenitsu, tanjiro, and inosuke. Inosuke represents touch as he uses it to scan the forest of demons, so thats what you saw when he scanned through the wall. He wanted to take his shirt off because it was limiting his senses

in case you havent realised the main characters represent the senses, Tanjrio, inosuke and Zenitsu are very obviously Smell, hearing and touch but also Nezuko is taste (obvious since shes a demon) and Kanao represents sight since she was just an onlooker her entire life

And she’s not a demon slayer, and those senses are directly connected to their abilities/techniques. Nezukos technique is fire blood. Absolutely nothing to do with her mouth. So...so does that mean scar dude uses taste....is he literally going to slap the taste out of someone's mouth!?! Also, technically Inosuke represents proprioception, the sense of space. While he punched the wall to understand where the demon was in the wall, it's more him using the wall determine the demon's position in space. When he was in the spider forest, he didn't touch anything with his hands, he literally just used spatial awareness relative to his own body's position.

The Upper Moons are all stronger than the Lower Moons. It's in order of strength with Upper Moon 1 being the strongest and Lower Moon 6 being the weakest. Out of the 12 of them Lower Moons 1-6 would be numbers 7-12 in strength ranking.

How was lupa wrong? This whole chat is clapping themselves. I don't think he was talking about the first flash back. There was a scene when zenitzu mentioned the house leader was found dead two days prior, they then showed a quick glimpse of the body. Then the very next scene is a flashback from 2 days ago where we see her get dropped.
