Sheera is right actually! Taiga/Tora mean tiger and Ryuuji/Doragon mean dragon. They put Tora(tiger) + the beginning of Doragon(dragon) together to make "Toradora".

Toradora does such a beautiful job of exploring the complications of crushes and friendships and love. One of my favorite things about the series is that even though it can be predictable and there might be a lot of cliches, it still drives home earnest feelings that feel real. Hope you two enjoy the hell out of this one.

I personally liked the Dub, ik thats a hot take apparently, but it could resolve the issue of the subs not matching. It'll keep everything consistent with what you guys are seeing/hearing and what we are. Also Sheera was right about the title. Tora means tiger and doragon means dragon. Tora and Doragon is just shortened to Toradora.

Its not very noticable but what they read is not what we read. In both episodes they posted, Roshi read some parts of the sub aloud and it didnt match what I saw on our end.

That is because they are watching different version and he edits the video for us from another site. This isn't the only show that is happening like this, Kaguya-sama they were watching official translations and switched to fansubs, because all true fans know fan subs are better as they don't censor anything =)

They watch different subs than the ones that are in the reaction. Some are more accessible/easier to watch, while being harder to download/get a copy of for the reaction edit. It sucks sometimes but, it is what it isssss
