Shiggy would’ve made bank as a demolition man. One touch an boom! building gone. He also could’ve been a pretty great rescue hero for clean up caused by avalanches or tsunamis but nope- All For One found him first.

Just a bit of clarification (just in case u missed it). Shigaraki has now awaked his quirk to its original form. After he was traumatized from killing his family, he unconsciously restricted his quirk so that it would only activate if he had all 5 finger on an object. Now that he is over his trauma and has unlocked his full quirk, he can now control what he wants to decay at will, he doesn’t need all 5 fingers to do so, and he can use his quirk with his feet. The two major power ups he got is he can now spread his decay to whatever he wants (ex: he can decay the floor and he can spread the decay to affect someone 20ft away). The second is he can decay almost anything now. It was really hard to tell in the anime but when re destro went to hit shigaraki with 100% stress (before the power suit) you can see him decay away the energy re destro built around his fists. So glad they gave Shigi his neon white hair. It stands out so much in contrast to the animation colors and I freaking love it. Can’t wait for season 6

Shiggy could be a rescue hero. Imagine tons upon tons of debris turned to powder and everyone just accessible to save. OR, since he can control the speed and scope of his decay like with Aizawas elbow in S1, he gives like 1 warning and starts taking limbs or joints if the villain wants to play around. Imagine you try to get smart with the Decay Hero and now half your kneecap is gone

My favorite villain in anime for a reason. But I guess I am pretty bias to MHA lol. I liked most of what they had adapted with this arc but I still wish they adapted all of it and didn't cut stuff out. It would have made the arc a lot better and helped the characters like spinner and redestro be more impactful and show characterization and growth if they added those other scenes. But this episode was done very well.

Shigaraki could avoid setting off his quirk constantly by wearing gloves that cover *some* of his fingers, if the condition for using it is "all fingers touching"

Shigaraki would need to wear artists gloves. They don’t cover every finger so he wouldn’t decay the gloves.

I think's a pretty good quirk for a rescue hero! With a lil more control he could be helpful for when people get stuck under pieces of concrete or whatever in some disasters!! He'd help them by decaying those pieces and freeing the people.... But ofc one can only dream😔

One thing I like about Shigaraki is that he makes sure that his squad eats. He made sure to ask Re Destro if his company makes money so that he can treat his squad the way he wants to.

This man went from common street thug to head of an entire terrorist organisation in just a year. Shit's about to get real. I can't wait to see the next arcs adapted. Hopefully they don't decide to make any more random movies so we can get the full experience

Or they make a canon movie of the arc. That's the difference between MHA and series like Demon Slayer and JJK. Mugen Train was a direct follow up to S1, and 100% canon. The upcoming JJK movie is a prequel, and 100% canon. Well-used budget. MHA movies are great and all, but making them actually adapted from the manga and actually canon would be a better use of budget (if they feel they realllyyyyy have to make movies).

If the user is able to control something like "Decay" (such as direction and strength), it could be really useful for construction work or helpful at getting rid of waste and such. it outright destroys anything the user touches, but we've mostly seen that with solids, not liquids or gases, so it could prove interesting for mining operations or something too, if he could be extremely precise with it and use a tool for dictating the specific areas he wants destroyed. The uses are there, if he wanted to be a hero. heck, i can imagine it being insanely useful for removing rubble and roadblocks! he could use it for destroying explosives too, i'd imagine. and here's an interesting note: shigaraki is a "stain remover," taken to an extreme
