So as to your question about why the accounts are so op than the admin ones I’d like to think it’s because of the fact that the Underworld was created using the World Seed. If you guys forgot what that is Kayaba gave it to Kirito at the end of season 1 and it’s basically a smaller version of the cardinal system used in Aincrad (at least that’s what I got from what I read). Since it uses the World Seed it’d make sense that accounts that have been used for hours and hours of grinding are more powerful than accounts simply made to overlook a simulation. I think this all made sense, great reaction!

KevMath

Also, Kayaba told Kirito he can do whatever he wants with the World Seed so Kirito gave it out to the public and that’s how games like GGO and ALO were made. And the entire time everyone was transferring their characters which makes me think how future seasons of SAO would be IF all games still are made from the World Seed since everyone would practically just be op from the start lol

Skebaba

That's because they just rushed Underworld w/ slightly customized modules w/ The Seed as the core, and since The Seed by its very design allows account conversion between games to maintain stats (or their equivalents/balanced variants at least) across different games (at the cost of "you can't use the account to play the other game if you convert, unless you convert it back again, but then you can't play the other game w/ that account at the same time either"

2021-07-22 01:54:04 Americans speak English, why do Korean & Chinese players not speak their respective languages? Surely, it would've been way easier finding Asian voice actors. Shit makes no sense, do they think we don't know the difference between Asian languages?

Why does it matter? It's not like it ruins the immersion . You wouldn't understand any of the languages anyway unless you actually speak it yourself. Plus, what does "finding Asian voice actors" actually mean? The Voice actors in Japan are already Asian... Surely, you don't believe that the English spoken in the show are actually voiced by actual Americans?

Where's SAO this week?

I get what both of yall are saying, but I too find it absurd that Americans gotta be given crappy VA and chinese/koreans just speak regular japanese. Its not about the immersion but how it is represented, because you can clearly tell there's a whole lot of generalization that Americans are stupid brutes that go on for violence. Yet we see a side with Koreans and Chinese talking together seeing there's something fishy going on. Using different races and ethnicities is fine, but grouping and stereotyping them annoys me. Plus its nonsensical how they're chinese/koreans speaking japanese reading an english article. As for finding chinese/korean VAs, you know how close those countries are to Japan right? Some japanese people know chinese/korean well better than english.
