In addition to collecting the unused command spells at the end of war, I think if a master dies during the war any unused command spells goes directly to the judge.

Reality Marbles ARE explained in the show, just not until UBW when the explanation actually matters. In Zero, not knowing the exact mechanics isn't a big deal.

I think there was a mistake in the translation When kiritsugu used Time Alter ( acceleration or slowing his own time) it was not a "reality marble" ( a notion explained down the line) but a "bounded field". A bounded field is basically a zone of variable size that a mage can define and in this zone he can "modify parameters" and control it (think domain expansion from JJK , kind of). Kiritsugu basically creates a zone comprising his body in which he is able to manipulate time. But the toll is enormous since the second he deactivates it , his "own time " instantly tries to realign with "real time" causing damage and pain to his body.

Yeah, another thing of Fate/Zero is that it expects your already familiar with most of the terms and systems in place in the Fate verse since you're already supposed to have experienced Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel before touching it

He says "Koyu Kekkai" (reality marble). The subtitles are correct. The novel gave a bit more information. What Kiritsugu is doing kind of skirts the line where it TECHNICALLY meets the definition of a reality marble, but it's not really in the same category as actual reality marbles. It's kind of a bootleg he makes by using his family time magic within a bounded field.

Command Spells kinda AREN'T just for forcing commands. They have some other uses, since utilizing a Command Spell can also negate any subconscious Limiters on the person it's being used on, since the Command Spell overrides any restrictions, subconscious or otherwise, that might have them defy the Command. Thus if you say "win the fight", it might give some really non-standard buff results since it will force them to disable Limiters, to fulfill the Command, no matter what kind of "muscle" damage they might gain, or ligament tears etc, as a result of these natural limiters being off. I also recall them being useful against Noble Phantasms specializing in Mind Control etc effects, since the Command basically disables the Mind Control effect, by forcing the Slaved Servant to obey the Command, too. It has plenty of other unexplored benefits too, I'm sure

Pretty sure the reason he didn’t shoot him is because that ball of mercury can react to bullets and stop his shots since the only thing being sped up by his time accel is him, not his gun. Also, he could just be in pain from using the technique and want to create as much distance in order to recover.

Think of a reality marble as a domain expansion. Kiritsugu did it here in a way that it was contained in his own body
