I mean Horikoshi was hella inspired by a lot of Western stuff. Hence the Star Wars themed locations, Todoroki being similar to Zuko, and the avatar line being just like the OfA line

My theory behind deku being able to see most of the shades is that they are dead. We see all mights shade but not fully cuz he is still alive so I bet the last two are still alive as well somewhere , but idk thats just a super random thought that popped up when I was watching today

I personally really liked this arc, I think the problem was that it was right after the festival arc. But this one was cool to see how the people in the class have grown and the new ways they learned to use their powers!

Not sure about the edge case of multiple people hearing Shinso's voice and reacting to it, how that would play out. Does he control them all if they all do or just the one he intended to? If it hits everyone, then being able to make his voice highly directional would also be a useful thing. Like, a directional speaker. Maybe his new mask can do that, too.

Well Idk if he can get control of multiple people at the same time but I do know he can control multiple people at once. Cuz remember back during the sports festival he was controlling multiple people and had them carry him during the relay race. As well as the cavalry battle im pretty sure.
