when he said it should work faster once he told them how his technique works is a pact. Nanami used it when training Yuji. "Revealing one's hand". Explaining your technique to your enemy makes it stronger. Also a couple other people used it. Like Todo when he explained Boogie Woogie.

They explained earlier in the season that telling your opponents about your technique is a pact with yourself that makes your technique stronger. Manami, Hanami, and Toudou have all done this before. It's a clever way to give the audience exposition while still having it remain relevant and meaningful in the show.

Explaining your power to the enemy in JJK increases its effectiveness because it’s basically a contract. By giving up information on how your power works you lose that element of surprise and give the enemy knowledge so in return you gain an increase in effectiveness. It’s been mentioned a couple of times already, by Hanami, Eso (in this episode), and I think it was straight up explained in an earlier arc. But yeah it’s just a contract similar to Nanami’s “Overtime” but it’s a contract that anybody can use and it seems like it can be really useful in certain situations.

A movie covering the prequel (Jujutsu Kaisen 0) was announced for the winter season, start of next year. So, most likely, the wait for Season 2 will be around 2 years.

The pact with Sukuna was revealed the same episode, Sheera. Sukuna can use Yuji's body whenever he wants so long as he doesn't kill anyone and that Yuji won't remember the deal. It kept being brought up by other people like Gojo because they literally can't ask Yuji what the pact was, because he genuinely can't remember since that was part of the deal in the first place.

The movie is a prequel to another character covered over someone named yuta. I believe they are gonna make this into a movie because yuta will make an appearance in the manga and they want people to know who he is before they throw him into the anime and nobody who does not read manga have no clue who he is.

Also, like others have mentioned, if you form a pact with yourself and reveal your technique to your opponent, it's effects increase/your Cursed Energy increases.

The manga at this point elaborates on it more, but cursed techniques do actually get stronger if the opponent reveals how it works. Nanami and Hanami talked about this is previous episodes as well. Because of the pactlike nature of techniques. revealing is like making a pact with the opponent.

in yuji's last punch I also thought he was going to do another black flash... but maybe he didn't because he felt sorry for his oponent. Gojo said that feelings fuck your control over cursed energy, and to do a black flash everything must be perfect, full focus and shit.

Yep, it is to an extent a pact. The more limitations or handicaps the more potent the power can become. So revealing how a technique works increases its effectiveness because you are technically putting yourself at a disadvantage by revealing how it functions.

dunno if you guys remember, but near the beginning they explained that if you tell your opponent the rules of your ability, it makes it more powerful when using against them... thats why during several fights, people will explain their abilities! This story actually has a reason for characters to say their ability rules without just being the "im explaining to the audience but its actually really stupid in world" xD

It's been said that when they tell what their techniques are, it works quicker in the show. It's been a common thing since they introduced the exsalary guy.
