Not gonna lie, speaking as someone who had no trouble hearing them from the beginning, those subtitles (actually *captions*, not subtitles, there's a big difference) are actually just really distracting, considering how god awful the timing is. It often shows text while a completely different line is being spoken (sometimes 2 or 3 lines away from where the text is), and just as often shows a line for a fraction of a second so it's impossible to actually read it. Of course, captions are meant for people who literally can't hear, so people programming them generally have no incentive to put any effort into timing.

Her design and voice acting is clearly feminine.

Cody Braim

Damn y’all 0 for 2 on guessing the gender lmao

Cody Braim

Oh and the lines the satellite was talking about are called the Nazca Lines, they’re a real thing

David

Roshi mentioned it's because audio levels on Bebop are pretty low and can be low during recording too, so it helps to hear specific things/when they're talking. The captions weren't distracting at all, you get used to them.

Please watch kuroko no basket after this or when you start watching a new show please that show is great

Adam Vialpando

How are there still people who still don't know about the Nazca Lines in Peru. Even if you don't know what they are the designs are so well known and recognisable that I assumed most people had seen at least one carving.

Saleenseven

another awesome reaction. so happy yall picked up bebop
