Ehh tower of god is alright but at this point it is boring as fuck. If anything we need it to be season 2 already for it to be interesting. Hoping we get konosuba in the next hour cause this isn’t even really reaction worthy in my opinion. Obviously it gets deeper and better later but this episode wasn’t it at all...

Pertaining to the "25th bam" that is just his full name. It's not that important that you know his full name. It would be kinda weird to call the main character "the 25th bam" every time they address him.

I’m enjoying it - I actually like this better than the most recent stuff on the WEBTOON for reasons I can’t explain without spoiling. I think part of the problem for me is how choppy this is with the constant cliffhangers and the week to week format. If you have the patience to wait until it all comes out and you can binge I think it does better.

Maybe it's because I'm an old head, but it's kinda cool sometimes to have to wait a whole week to watch a new episode of something animated in this binge-era of television. Reruns would be months away if you missed an episode in those Fox Kids/Kids WB days.

Yea first of all thank you for being a decent comment who clearly isn’t being an asshole. I do get what you are saying. For me it seems like the pacing is all over the place. Maybe it is just me. I am not saying the anime is bad but it feels underwhelming in a bunch of places. All of the hype still around it doesn’t help although that doesn’t affect my opinion of the actual series. I just think some stuff seems too dragged out and the constant “tests” that they have to do is already getting old. I want some actual world building and character development. Not just repetitive test being taken. That is partly why I feel and hope the second season will be more exciting and different. I have skimmed here and there in the manwa and I hear it gets pretty good in terms of story. I just hate that we are almost through the first season and we are still taking stupid repetitive tests all the way since episode 1. The first thing we got when he entered the tower was a test. Show me more shit and more of the environment and the general world of the tower not just more stupid test. But anyway I am done 😂😂

To answer your question how certain people are passing is because the test is the positioning test we’re they take classes on the position they were assigned and earned points for attendance and how well they performed in that class each day. The way you past this who ever has most points pass. Now in the WEBTOON they explain it more clearly by telling you how many can pass for each position. I would tell you but they might say something episode about it. Another thing about the test is that all meals and snacks now must be paid with test point . You see this by how endorsi mention that she has pay for food with her test points she earned from class. One the reason why Rachel/Michelle was only eating apples and candy bars so she doesn’t have to waste to many points for her. The “tag” test is a part of position test sort of like a final exam. That’s why shibsu, Anak, sleepy boy, and Khun are fine to pass even if they don’t win the “tag” test because they did perfect in their classes. As for why rak and big dude don’t have to participate in this test because they’re teacher told them if they hit that target they pass the entire test which means they are exempt from the tag test

Nah I'm enjoying the slow build and the details that they are throwing in. They've shown repeatedly that the smallest things become important later on, so I want them to take their time with it. I don't need the entire plot laid out in the first season. Add in that they are actually all at the beginning of their journey, it makes perfect sense to showcase their abilities and logic through these test. And the comment below about the points system explains a lot about why they acted the way they did, and the team they helped

its true mthe adaption is not the best so far the direction is all over the place SUI doesnt even like commenting on the anime so that says something in itself, theyre changing lots of leaving out even more its unfortunate but hopefully that will change with season 2
