So as you guys can see we definitely have some questions in regards to these other heroes! Hopefully it gets explained how L'arc and Therese were there before the wave, but seemed to vanish along with the wave. They also knew about the history of the Shield Hero and have a lot more knowledge of whats going on overall than our heroes. This story is nuts and Im glad its being expanded on! Looking forward to Season 2!

What an amazing ride this was! Thanks for the reactions. I really hope you guys do either Konosuba or Haikyuu next! Konosuba for more comedy and laughter kind of like in prison school or Haikyu for more epic moments and comedy here and there kind of like shield hero. Pick your poison aha

I remember watching Konosuba. I don't remember it being laugh out loud funny, more of exhale through your nose and smile. Prison school was hilarious, I don't think Konosuba holds a candle to it.

i think both are really funny but two different styles for sure. prison school comedy has really ecchi and vulgar scenes to help add to it aha

Personally I suggest Parasyte: Maxim. That's one of the best one season anime out there, along with Erased and a few others. Great fights, super emotional sometimes and in general top notch writing. Its really up there.

I'd definitely reccomend Re:zero after this if you haven't watched it it's in the same vein and just as good.

It's funny that Lupa said "You're titties" because ironically enough, in the Light Novel of Shield Hero the Queen offered herself and the Kings throne as a reward for Naofumi. He turned it down obviously.

Really liked watching Shield Hero again. Your reactions gave me more insights into the plot than when I watched it on my own, and that made the show even better! When you were cheering or got angry at the same things I did in the story, that also made my re-watch more enjoyable. Looking forward to another show I can re-watch with you guys (in spirit of course).

All I can say is the arc that introduces L’Arc and Therese is pretty damn epic. So expect season 2 to immediately start with a bang. Unless they adapt the wn a bit and focus on rebuilding. But great reactions, as a super fan of this novel/show, I’m glad you guys liked it. Can’t wait to see whatever else y’all are gonna watch!

Glad you commented about the music, This show has had some fire battle themes. Usually English VA's don't always convey certain emotional beats of their Japaneses counterparts but Raphtalia's scene at the end was powerful in both languages. Until season 2, can't wait to see what the Kame House adds to the list!

both worlds have vassel weapons unfortunately i don't know what happened to the one's in the world naofumi is in.

Just realize something all the Cardinal hero's weapons auto-translate when speaking to people. Raphtalia didn't understand Theresa when they first meet understood L'Arc. I think Theresa is not a hero but another adventure that is from the same world as Glass and L'Arc.

yeah it was the queen's shadow talking to the slave trader. he was told to secretly help him after the whole accusation. it is why naofumi got a slave for so cheap. The reason he was willing to help naofumi is cause the queen lets him do his business, and in exchange she get info on the dark part of the kingdom and use the slave trader without her "technically" getting her hands dirty.
