Something I learned today was that the 'smoke' on Muzan was most likely Wisteria, which is poison to demons, but because he's Muzan and he's so powerful, it doesn't do much of anything to him but causes him to smoke. Also, as at least one other person pointed out, the kid who let the demon into the temple is the same guy from Zenitsu's flashback in season 1. He was the asshole throwing peaches at our boy and insulting him for being overly familiar with their teacher.

A little irked they didnt include the Sayo letter in the anime. She was talking about the demon, but 4y/o being in shock/traumatized couldnt express herself. Demon also evaporated so there was no proof of a murderer aside from the remaining 2 people. Also, this serious Zenitsu is locked in. A little surprised they seemed annoyed(?) at him though

Where is everyone hearing that the final season will actually be a trio of movies? I've not seen this reported anywhere reputable. I'm reminded of when people said everything after Season 4 Part 1 of Attack on Titan would be a movie, which didn't happen, so I think people should hold off on believing this rumor until we've gotten actual confirmation. It definitely feels like something Ufotable would do, but at the same time, internet rumors are a thing.

@Merfhew Rengoku shows the other way of becoming a demon slayer: you're raised in it, demon slayer families. Very few demon slayers have a reason that's different than revenge for lost loved ones or being raised in a demon slayer family because...that makes the most sense and it's the norm. The DS corps is not even recognized by the government; you're not gonna get a bunch of backstories that involve straight up recruitment with pamphlets lol. The exceptions are characters like Mitsuri (find a husband), Inosuke (crazy mfer beat up demon slayers that came up his mountain), Kanao (bought by demon slayers & raised), & Zenitsu (debt paid by demon slayer & raised).

Probably not that long. They do all the voice work at the same time. 4-5 hours worth of animation is 15-20 episodes. It's just a higher budget.

it's obviously not left and right. They're clearly more of a rural legend/myth. Since they only come out at night and mostly people who go out at night are the ones attacked, the citizens most likely leave it as that person going missing, maybe wandering too far into the forest. Think about how many people go missing every day in the real world.

I think someone up there already mentioned it since there are over 200 comments above me already but waiting for the site to load it is gonna be ass to check, but you guys have definitely seen that kid who snitched on the orphans before because his general design remained the same. He's Zenitsu's fellow apprentice to the former Thunder Hashira in his origin flashback all the way back in S1, so he definitely survived that attack after the snitch since he's definitely older in his flashback.

EP 6 - We can focus on Stone Hashira as a leader along with his training - he is the "Gentle" one - Have him give the Hashira a break one night instead of fighting each other - This could be the episode where Muichiro kid side gets explored - Mitsuri and her food side - I'd also move that red bean paste scene to this episode 😂
