Hinata doesn’t have Raphael, that was the voice of the world two separate entities. Remember back to the demon lord evolution the voice of the world speaks to all beings like monsters and some humans. Rimiru has Raphael who is a unique skill and loyal to him

I think they getting confused because the anime doesn’t always say that it’s the voice of the world vs Raphael. Also they not really paying attention in context of the who is speaking they just hear the same voice and go aha.

Cool fact: They actually had a very subtle reveal about Hinata all the way back in Season 2, the very first time she and Rimuru fought. During the fight, Rimuru says, "She's observing my attacks to predict my next move and deal with it as needed? It almost feels like I'm up against Great Sage."

There is only one Raphael. Raphael started off as a unique skill, meaning there is only one, so no one else in the world can have it. Raphael uses the voice of The Words of the World. They are completely different entities. Everyone hears The Words of the World when they gain a new skill or the harvest festival for an evolving Demon Lord is happening. Edit: Also, Hinata does have a calculation skill but it's nothing like Raphael.

You guys don't remember but like the other comments were saying, Hinata doesn't have Raphael. At the time, great sage borrowed the speech capabilities of Words of the world/voice of the world because it couldn't speak on it's own and that's why they sound the same.. As great sage evolved with Rimuru, it started to speak with more personality and not monotone like AI. Rimuru mentions this multiple times btw. So TLDR Rimuru is the only individual with Raphael

Raphael was mimicking a core mechanic of the world called ‘Words of the World’. Anyone can hear that voice when acquiring skills or when evolving. When Raphael was great sage, she was just copying Words of the World. After evolving she became less robotic and started feeling/acting like something with a personality or with intelligence

Hinata’s backstory kinda explained something for me. I remember one of the three idiots from another world who had a hand in killing shion and the goblins, the last dude who was alive killed his teammate and acquired new skills. I didnt know how the hell he knew he would just “get” a skill from killing somebody, but now i guess he also had a “raphael” that told him like: “yo, you about to die with 100% certainty, to make it instantly into a 0%, you need to kill your homegirl” 😂 and he became immortal and got his shit beat up by Geld

This was the first episode of this season that I actually liked... these "Seven Days Clergy" motherfuckin clowns managing to outsmart everybody else in the show was embarrassing to watch. Keeping in mind that Hinata literally told all the Crusaders and Holy Knights that their God Luminus TOLD them not to be hostile against Rimuru and Tempest, then Reyhiem shows up: 7 Days Clergy: Eyyo Reyhiem don't you have a message for us from Rimuru? Hinata: wtf, how would you know he was carrying a message *SUS* Rimuru's message: 1v1 me Bro Hinata: wtf, Rimuru wouldn't say something like this, but.. w/e I guess. But y'all God Luminus told y'all not to mess with Rimuru.... but w/e I guess. The fkn Holy Knights and crusaders and sht: Oh mai Gawd we can't let Hinata go alone, we gotta follow her with an army! Me: EXCUSE ME, your fkn GOD that y'all worship TOLD u not to take any hostile action against Rimuru... but y'all immediately decide to go to Tempest with an army??... Sigh. Blonde Knight shows up in Tempest with an "army" of 100 knights and immediately starts taking hostile action against Rimuru. Hinata shows up, sees Rimuru, doesn't say a word to deescalate the situation, no clarifications.. literally everyone starts fighting like brainless muppets... WTF. Even the fkn 7 Day Clergy Clowns saying they did all this shit for Luminus... even though she literally told them not to start shit with Rimuru.. like WTF! Like sorry for the word vomit here, but so much absolute BS happened the last 9 fkn episodes man... But yeah, this episode was actually good, it took 10 fkn episodes, lol.

When Satoru Mikami(Rimuru) died in episode 1, we heard the Voice of the World giving him abilities based on his wishes. Also, when Rimuru evolved into the Demon Lord, we heard that voice again talking about the Harvest Festival. In both cases, the voice actor used was the same as the one used for Great Sage, and in the novel it is mentioned that they both sound similar. Therefore, what Hinata heard when she received here skills was the Voice of the World, not Great Sage/Raphael.

From what i know hinata didnt have raphael, it was only rimuru because it evolved from his skill sage. otherworlders just hear the voice when they get new skills or something but they cant talk directly to it. Also the death blessing was much more epic in the manga, iirc it was an actual hand of god coming from the sky, the anime kinda nerfed it

Diablo killing those 3 luminaries was pretty cool in the manga, he literally folded the pages/panels in on them. Obv doesn't exactly transfer well to anime but it was close.

Random guy is what I felt about the voice too. I think the people in that world refer to it like "Voice of the World" and it more like a default World AI giving you skills. Seems not to speak to you unless it develops into it. So for normal people like us, it probably be "Unlocked Big Booty Skill", and that's it. For Rimuru it be doing all sort of calculations, advice, and it's own personality. As for Hinata's dad, it felt that she killed him? From that scene, it showed her dad glasses, and then panel to Hinata looking at her hand like "What have I done?". I could be wrong, just an inspection I think is the word?

I think most people from the other world get “Words of the World” Y’all remember when they got invaded and fought against the people from the church? Geld had fought the spiky haired guy, and the guy killed his girl teammate because Words of the World told him that he would get the survivor skill in exchange for her soul. It’s the Megiddo episode, right after the guy kills the girl and comes out of the tent to face Geld, and before he gets bodied 😂

No pulling strings. Each otherworlder basically wills the powers they want into existence. Satoru said he should’ve been a sage because he was an almost 40 yo virgin and he got sage, and that power was so OP it kept leveling itself up. Hinata wanted the power to overcome everything bcuz of her family life so she got usurper. Words of the world is just a mechanic of the verse. GS copied it to talk to rimuru. Yall got clapped by this when he turned into a demon lord too 😭

Bit different in the Manga, Rimuru attempted to create a fake heart for her like he had for the blue haired girl but her resistance to magic made it ineffective, then Luminus appeared. Also nah she killed her dad to save her mom but it just broke her mom kinda and she got involved in some hoaxy religion. The Words of the World and Great Sage/Raphiel have the same voice, but I believe at this point they are separate entities. Way back in the first episode when Rimuru was loading into the world, Great Sage was one of the abilities given to Rimuru. I have a feeling that after their evolution to Raph(an angel figure) the Words of the World could be equivalent to that world's God maybe? That credits scene happened with dialogue, but nothing really all that important, basically what you saw there. That whole drunk embracing thing is another trope in animes from what I know.

Btw, it is Great Sage's voice that acts as "Words of the World" which is basically what they hear when they evolve/gain skills etc. When Rimuru evolved into a Demon Lord, a Gifting event happened where all of his followers got "gifts"/evolutions/skills and they all heard the "Words of the world." It is just rare for other people to hear Great Sage's voice because they only hear it in the form of "Words of the World"/Personal Announcement when they evolve/gain new skills etc.. but Rimuru literally has Great Sage (Now Raphael) to chat with whenever he wants, lol. Also, the funny lore if you forgot from like ep 1, He got the Skill Great Sage because he was thinking to himself that he died at like age 40 as a Virgin, and he was telling himself that this must make him a Great Sage, and then he got the Broken OP Great Sage Skill unlocked, lmao. That is the same way they showed Hinata this episode unlocking her OP Usurper skill that steals the skills of others stronger than her, she was thinking to herself that she was done getting robbed and wanted to do the stealing for once, right after she got Transported into this world, and that is what Unlocked her Usurper Skill, as announced by the "Words of the World."

Also fun fact back in season 2 when rimuru was getting is demon lord skills he was supposed to have wise one but great sage asked the system to become Raphael but the system refused until she sacrificed another skill. Ps Raphael gifted wise one to Diablo when he got named.

This might've been the most Shield Hero-esque episode I've seen from Slime. The Seven Days Clergy, the attacks they used; and while it wasn't a Blood Sacrifice per se, Hinata's sacrifice opened the door for Valentine to finish things up. Also, not lost on me was something in the credits. Valentine (based on her expressions) might be a more laid back character than her more recent appearances would show...

SO little extra info: Hinata's father did not kill himself Hinata killed him to protect her mom. The voice of the world is not Raphael the reason why Great sage - Raphael sound like the voice of the world is because the skill copied the voice from "The voice of the world" which informs being when they acquire skills and evolutions. The attack Trinity break and Trinity disintegrations is not the same. Disintegrations is the ultimate move against monsters and trinity version is the strongest version of it. Rimuru should have been destroyed by it but the ultimate guards were able to protect him. This might be explained in later episodes but they should have mentioned it so minor spoiler from here on. The reason Raphael did not use Uriel's barrier is because spirit power is hard to predict so it would not have been that effective against Melt slash. However after Beelzebub swallowed and analyzed melt slash, now Raphael understands spirit particles and why the barriere would be effective against the attack. Just because we have seen several disintegration attacks recently you should not underestime it as it still is THE ultimate anti-monster attack. Rimuru almost died once from it

So thats not the same Raphael. To my understanding the Raphael Hinata heard is the voice everybody hears when they learn a new skill its the "Voice of the world". It just so happens the one we hear that Rimuru talks too sounds the same. The Raphael that Rimuru talks to is one of his skills.

So for what u guys heard that was not Raphael, Raphael is a completely different ability that exists within rimuru (which tbh I haven’t read the manga at all but I’m pretty sure rimuru ate the voice of the world and it just kept upgrading with his abilities lmao), and from what you guys have been seeing she/it has a mind of its own at this point in time, what hinata hears is the voice of the world that tells u when u gain an ability or leveled up

One thing that doesn't make sense to me is... I think we heard earlier that Hinata was Shizu's brilliant student and left at the age of 15. We see that she arrives in this world at age 15 and meets Shizu. Basically, this means that at most they only spent a few months together (Hinata is currently 25 I think as well).

The voice hinata heard was the Voice of the world, Great Sage/Raphael utilizes the Voice of the world to speak they are different things but that's why they have the same voice. Everyone in slime can hear the Voice of the world only rimuru can hear Great Sage/Raphael.

As someone already stated above, what Hinata heard was indeed Voice of The World and Great Sage/Raphael is basically Rimuru's own Voice of The World. Back in season 2 when Rimuru was going through his demon lord evolution you can hear Great Sage talking to Voice of The World when she was reacquiring and upgrading Rimuru's unique skills while Rimuru is still asleep and since Great Sage herself is a unique skill of Rimuru she asked permission to be upgraded to Raphael.
