My boy got a pellet gun for Christmas.  He asked for a sling.

Let me know if you think this editing is too fast / tight / claustrophobic or if I'm just imagining it. Not sure why this video got so long, didn't expect it to.  Consequently I edited a lot harder to get the time down.

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out Kid!

My boy asked for a sling. I threw in a little stock mod. Don't miss out! Or maybe miss out, what do I know. ----- Music: How It Began & Last Horizon (Silent Partner)

I always keep an eye out for your silly antics. ,D I think the editing is fun and good. But anyway, I guess things got mixed up... I asked for a right rotator cuff that wasn't grumpy, instead I got a sling.

Where do you get your Selenium Dioxide? I have only been able to find gun blue in very small containers.

It's indeed a bit fast-paced, I prefer the usual pace but it's still great :) No worries about making the videos slightly longer though. While I follow probably about a hundred channels on YouTube, yours is one of the few that I know will always be a treat!

The last video and this one seems to be you returning to your regular pace after being busy with life the last month or so. Very happy to see it!

Gregor Shapiro

Slightly fast in places but not disturbing enough to complain. I especially liked the dimensional analysis! And YES you should have done the calculation in metric! (BTW 454 grams to a pound - but that 1% disappears in round-off anyway).

I didn't notice that you had made it "rushed" until I read your question after watching the video. So in that regard, I guess it wasn't too bad. Looking back at it, I recognise that there are a few places where it skipped forward a bit. I am all in favour of having longer videos, rather than having rushed ones. But I don't have the advantage of your analytics to say whether that's a broadly held view ;-)

Continental Breakfast

I see why you're concerned about the rushed pace, but your instincts are pretty much pitch-perfect and you will find the right balance just by following them. I do wonder if somehow toning down the high-pitched sound effects (file, sander, various zooming sounds) could give it a less frantic overall effect without changing the length of the video. Frantic is too strong a word. You are a master; you'll get it right.

yes its just gun blue. I used to always tell people "gun blue" but that might not translate in other countries so I reverted to calling it by it's christian name. I get it on a ebay, cheapest I can find wins. I've been using Phillips lately but it's not that great. Abom uses... Caseys?... his parts look great.

It's my danged microphone. I even bought a new cable! sometimes, when it gets too close to too much metal? it gets that hum. Because it's not constant throughout the video it's hard to take out. That, and I have poopy speakers, you folks are probably hearing much more than I do!

Your content is fantastic already. I don't care about the little hum here or there because the creativity is through the roof. Your channel is one that I'd rather have a long video than a short one too.

I'm wondering if the round casting marks on the block where you pinned the swivel are different pivot locations for the pump/charging mechanism. If you go to the hole where you drilled the pin, the compressor piston would travel further compressing more air.......

Thank goodness SOMEONE remembers your surface gage project ! (it's on my wishlist too). Since you asked, it's not how long the video is, but how that silver tongue gets applied ! :)
