Outtake and Tattoos! (Patreon)

Here is a high res outtake from my rooftop photoshoot with Doyle last year.

On the same subject - have you watched Sascha Gerstner's video to raise awareness about human trafficking? I'm sure most of you know him from Helloween but he's a fascinating artist outside of that as well! He is one of the people who inspired me to pick up photography again, actually. He told me about this idea from the very beginning and I really love how the song and video turned out:

Now, about this photo shoot; it was freezing cold atop a Brooklyn building (actually atop the studio I was tracking in!) and it was one of the first times I did a self-shoot since Doyle actually couldn't fully see at that point from his eye surgery. But he was there to make sure I didn't freeze to death! I've definitely improved at photography since then but I still love these shots!

A lot of people ask about my tattoos and I honestly got them done for my own enjoyment so I don't show them off too much. You can get a pretty good look at this one here; so let's see if anyone can figure out what this tattoo is about! 🧐

Obviously its a series of animal portraits arranged almost totem pole style, wrapping around my torso, starting in the sky with a vulture and descending into the deep sea with a nautilus (not visible here but visible in other photoshoots). In between, as you can see, there is an elephant portrait and a gorilla portrait. Beside the gorilla you can see the horn of the next animal in line, which is an antelope.

Can anyone figure out what this tattoo represents? 😎
