Hell yeah. S4 is Great. Let's get through these episodes people 👀

Ekk

I don't want to give away who but there are multiple actors in this episode that will appear in later seasons.

Tiernán Mac Cárthaigh

I love that Donna argues with the Doctor. She doesn’t care what he knows, she knows it’s wrong to just let people die. Catherine Tate absolutely kills it during that Tardis scene where she rebukes him for leaving everyone. Fantastic stuff. Donna told the Doctor that he needs someone in her very first episode and this episodes proves it. He’s so burned by his past that he’s just willing to let everyone die. She forces him to face reality and it’s exactly what a companion should be doing.

Rhianna Liscombe

Donna's defiance of the doctor is EXACTLY what he needs. It's what makes her one of (if not the best) companion. The doctor, with all his knowledge, needs someone to stand up to him and tell him no when he's gone too far. And unlike his previous companions, Donna is perfectly able and willing to do that, because she genuinely sees herself as his equal rather than his subordinate/admirer. She's his best friend, something he desperately needs at this point. So rather than getting annoyed at Donna for back-talking the Doctor every now and again, I think it would benefit you both to try seeing how much her defiance is actually benefitting him. Because really the Doctor could do with being humbled every now and again.
