If I remember correctly, there are several times where the anime, at least the English sub(only watched slight parts of the English dub), had the subtitles not be the same as what was said in the manga(from what I know so I could still be wrong). This episode has one of those if you want to know what was said originally or if you want to find out yourself.

I would assume Netero is a Conjurer based on his ability. Honestly these two episodes were some of the ones I was really excited to see you react to. You were right with what you said about eating humans. What he was saying is that they will rethink how they choose which humans to eat. Now, I know this has been discussed before, but considering how close it is, I do want to suggest you watch episodes 130 and 131 back to back. Great reaction as always.

Humans infinite potential for "Evolution" can also be translated to Humans infinite potential for "Malice".

In Japan, the terror of nuclear weapons is a pretty big trope, considering what happened during World War II. So, the idea of the power of humanity's evolution, humanity is able to evolve to the point of where we create weapons that can destroy the entire planet, just out of our individualistic sense of greed. As strong as Meruem is, he doesn't even know how far humans are willing to go to kill other humans - from the musket, to the rifle, to the tank, and then to the atom bomb.

Propogate means to make more of so they wont be using humans to create ants but they can still be eaten.

Netero is an enhancer by nature, but is capable of using other nen classes at pretty high levels.

This was arguably the best fight scene in the series so I’d just keep my expectations low or at least not pay mind to comments in that regard.

ok, honestly I expected something more from your reaction but that's okay don't worry😂❤ I prefer a genuine reaction to a fake reaction, always give your honest opinion and don't think about comments, however I would not underestimate the power of the bomb that Netero used, then you'll see😌

WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This arc introduced ants as something different. Throughout this arc the idea was that the enemy was the ants. The villain, the bad guy, that species, the ants were the issue and we as humans set out to eliminate them. In retrospect, the ants evolved, sought food, and expanded, colonized, and claimed titles and territories as their own, especially one that didnt initially belong to them. A good scene to go back to was when Meruem first entered his palace, the girls begged the King to spare their lives. The King replied "These humans are idiots...Think as hard as those weak brains of yours can manage. Have you ever spared a pig or a cow as it begged for its life?" And that was when the two parallels between ants and humans. Everything the ants did, the humans have done. Yet they are worse? I believe Netero knew this, and before he died he knew that although Humans and Ants may be similar, Ants are still ants... and Humans have had lifetimes to do 10x worse.... and the result of that is... Nuclear bombs used on each other in the name of war waged for nothing less of trivial profit and gain. So...Do we have to kill them because they're ants.. or do we have to kill them because we're human. Humans stood atop the food chain, and now we wonder if the ants lost because they were too much like humans.. or too much like ants...

Yes keep it real and honest that all we can ask for. That why we should try to keep the hype to the minimum. It give better reaction when you go in blind without too much expectation. So please people I know we are excited for some episodes but don't hype it too much 😉.

RIP to the man Netero.. He went out like a straight up G. I didn't even consider him dying unexpectedly near innocent people until you mentioned it just now (I'm an actual dumbass for that lmao). That would have been a complete shit show tho forreal.

lmaoo Lexi's reaction to Netero losing his limbs was great, also to point out those were the limbs that he didn't use to keep the ball away from gon and killua in the hunter exam

Javi

Yeah I always see people mention that but I think of it as this ; 1. He probably got this done for this specific mission. 2. Netero is the pinnacle of human physicality so I don't think something like a heart attack would happen.

Javi

Meruem's initial plan for humanity was to at first only keep the worthy humans alive, but after his fight with Netero he decided to basically keep humans alive but use them as food the same way humans use animals as food.

I recognised something btw. I recognise that you have more interest in meruem than netero which i get since he had more screen time for us to watch. However, for me good beats bad so thats why i had hope in netero even if they said he cant beat (or not beat but kill, which is why netero is there which is to save the fucking human race he just fought to have fun before he bombs him) so I enjoyed this fight especially netero's character more than anything i saw in any anime. Also netero is the strongest human alive so that might be another reason that had me believe he'll kill the king. Anyhow that was long thanks for your reaction!!

129, 130, 131...it's been a long time comin

I dont think hyping up specific episodes is good though. Her expectations might get too high and then make it disappointing by comparison.

Diego Zenhäusern

Lol, that's actually a really nice set up to explain why he didn't necessarily need them to keep his balance/ fight😮

Diego Zenhäusern

I have to say it didn't impress me as much in the moment, but the more I think about it the more ingenious Neteros move at the end seems to me. Basically everyone, including Meruem himself, assumed that it would be a fight that was decided by nen abilities, aura strenght etc. So using technology instead of nen to catch Meruem of guard was really a brilliant move! Also: @Medic this of course explains why Netero wanted to fight Meruem on his own xD

Killua X

I'm talking about asking her to do a triple for those, as I have been for months :) .
