hey just so know you - this was cut from the anime, but this back story took place 100 years ago. Satella was sealed 400 years ago cuz of her rampage, so at this point - the world hates satella. It's also interesting how regulus is still alive 100 years later and same with geuse as you seen in s1 and start of s2

With flashback-episodes like this I always get scared XD As soon as we saw Geuse, I was like "nonononono, you're NOT gonna make me care about them & show them so happy when we all know it won't last!" ^^' I don't know the background on Geuse, but in one his first scenes here he was adressed as "Bishop Romani-Conti" by one of his followers, while Regulus Corneas introduced himself as a Sin ARCHbishop of Greed, so I guess he had a lower rank back then & got promoted in some way to a Sin Archbiship later on

There are just too many things we don't know in Re Zero's story. Is Satella's rampage even true? If so why does Geuse and the rest of his men worship her even when it was at a time when they were all sane?

I'm not sure where your idea that Emilia turns into Satella at some point is coming from. There has to be some connection between them since they look alike and more importantly have the same voice actress but I don't think the series has told us what that connection is yet. I was thinking they could be twin sisters but who knows.
