Well, mental health can definitely affect you physiologically. Both mental and physical stress cause a rapid increase in cortisol production which is useful for quickly prepping the fight or flight responses but being chronically elevated can increase risks of heart disease, etc. Psychological stress alone has been shown to disrupt a woman’s menstrual cycle. Stress over low back injuries seem to delay recovery as the body limits blood flow to where we perceive pain, reducing nutrient mobilization and thus recovery rate. I’ve learned this from following Lyle McDonald and what he’s shared from neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky - free Stanford lectures on youtube if you’re interested (also discusses the idea of free will and broad moral implications of his research).

Only watched the first one so far, but I called it! I knew Isabella was gonna turn. Emma is such a Gon, I was wondering if you could resist saying it when she offered her hand to Ratri, but you couldn't! I guess I shouldn't be saying anything since everything could change in episode 11. I liked how every TPN reaction was influenced by a Marvel show reference because they come out on the same day lol. We need another Thursday anime. Anyway, your hair looks nice.

Yeah, this ending felt really extremely rushed It feels like they ran out of money and were told there wouldn't be a third season or something, because there were also a lot of points in these episodes where there were only still frames instead of moving ones and it felt kinda weird 🤔

I finally watch the reaction. I loved the show but I'm so disappointed they end it in s1=12+S2=11 episodes, 23 episodes for 181 chapters, Since you compared it to AOT they had 139 chapters converted to more than 75 episodes since the anime is not done yet. Overwall I like the anime but I kind of hate the ending reel. Go to the human world everything is fine and dandy, rainbow and flower. They introduce the queen for haft a second saying it's going to be much harder, nothing. Skip a season or two worth of anime go to the end. Like you said It made us not wanting to watch it. If they stop just before the last half montage we could have hope for S3 but no they kill it. Sonju wanting to eat humans suddenly no longer an issue forgotten. The whole promised to that so important, nobody care in the human world and they are much more evolved I'm pretty sure demons could not do much against the current human world technology. They could have made a 4-5 seasons anime with all the things they skip but they kill it with this ending. Well episode 10 was great but rush and first part of 11 better on rewatch. 2nd half of episode 11 kind of ruined for me but I can try pretend it never happen after some time and enjoy everything that happens before. Not working very well right now since I'm still upset.

I've read some YT comments it's even worst than I stated in my post for chapters per episode count. S1, 12 episode 1-37 chapters S2 ,11 episode 38 -181 chapters.

I feel like we just got that same scene of a fake double-cross a few weeks back in FMA. I'm still sort of processing what just happened here, though. I had no idea this was supposed to be the last episode. Cursory investigation into the manga makes it look like there were so many other things that happened. I can't believe they showed that cool dragon demon in a slideshow and we never get to meet it. They had all that set-up with showing how much more magical the strange animals were in the demon world. There could have been so much cool stuff! I'm with you in still liking it overall, but season 1 was immensely satisfying, while this just felt like they forgot they had homework and scribbled the season in at the start of class.
